Ugly Betty alumna has been cast in ABC’s hourlong action dramedy pilot . The series follows the adventures of FBI agent Will Chase (Scott Foley) who, following an emotional break-up, is assigned to work with quick, cunning and completely fearless CIA operative Francesca  Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan). Ortiz will play Susan Sampson. Based out of the FBI’s New York office, Dr. Susan Sampson is the FBI’s top behavioral scientist and Will’s best friend.

Former Underground star is set as a lead in ABC’s untitled Holms drama pilot. The series explores the lives of five African American sisters, all officers in the NYPD, as they face the challenges of their high-risk jobs while juggling their daily responsibilities. Vann will play Ella, one of the sisters. Smart, kind, and principled, she patrols her childhood neighborhood in Queens. Ella is a stand-up cop who goes out of her way to prove that police officers can still be good guys who treat people fairly. Married for 18 years, Ella is also a mother of three who struggles to balance her home life with her .When she chooses to disregard protocol, her partner gets shot, putting his life and her in jeopardy.

(Ten Days in the Valley) and (East Los High) are set for series regular roles in ABC’s cop drama pilot . The series chronicles the colorful, complicated lives of cops on and off the beat as we follow them into harrowing, emotional and often humorous situations. Randall will play Charlie Scooderro, Mudd’s longtime partner, and friend. Vasquez will portray Officer Esme Chiso, an officer at Harbor Division, who’s feeling conflicted about her brother, who’s now running with a dangerous gang.

Disjointed‘s has been cast as a series regular opposite Kat Dennings in ABC’s untitled Justin Noble comedy pilot. The workplace ensemble comedy centers on two guest-services associates at a high-end resort and the co-workers and guests they’re stuck with for eight to 16 hours a day. Ho will play Belinda, type-A and control-obsessed, she is the recently-promoted staff manager at the hotel. Eager to get the hotel in shape and make Ellie (Dennings) and Gabe (TBD) suffer, Belinda goes a little overboard on new policies.
