Brothers and Sisters star Rachel Griffiths is reuniting with ABC for the lead role in their untitled medical drama. It is described as a real-time “extreme event” medical series that follows the nurses and doctors of an understaffed Brooklyn hospital that becomes the borough’s last viable trauma center after a catastrophic hurricane wreaks havoc on the city. Griffiths has been cast as Kim Masters, an Emergency Department nurse at Our Lady of Salvation Hospital in Brooklyn who arguably holds the place together through sheer force of personality.

MADtv alum Bobby Lee has joined half-hour SPLITTING UP. The show stars Jenna Fischer as Lena, and Oliver Hudson as Martin, whose marriage is reignited by their divorce. They still live in the same house, alternating weeks, with one living upstairs and doing the parenting while the other lives downstairs int he guest apartment. Lee has been cast as Arthur, Martin’s best friend.

Diono Reasonover have signed on for a role in RELATIVELY HAPPY, starring Genevieve Angelson, Jon Rudnitsky, and Jane Lynch. The comedy follows Heather and Henry, a brother and sister who wind up living together for the first time since they were kids, after one of them suffers a big loss. They become each other’s wingmen, shoulder to cry on, best friend, and punching bag as they navigate love, loss, and work while helping to get each other “un-stuck.” Reasonover has been cast as Sydney, a first-year resident in an ER in the Bronx.

Toni Collette-starrer UNIT ZERO has added Jamey Sheridan. It sees Collette as a brilliant but unassuming CIA engineer and single mom, as she leads a team of desk jockeys into the field as secret agents. Sheridan has been cast as Mike Barclay, the Director of the CIA and the one who recognizes that Jackie and her team have what it takes to run the most sensitive operations at the agency.

THE CROSSING has booked Marcuis W. Harris for a series regular role. The project revolves around refugees from a war-torn country who start showing up to seek asylum in an American town. But the country these people are from is America, and the war they are fleeing is 250 years in the future. Harris has been cast as Caleb, one of the refugees.

UnREAL actor Michael Rady has booked a role in drama pilot THE GET. It follows a team of tireless internet journalists as they pursue and expose stories of injustice using their unconventional investigative techniques in today’s anything-goes world of reporting. Rady has been cast as Tom, a senior producer who is most at home when he’s out in the field.

Conviction alum Merrin Dungey has joined Romany Malco and Adhir Kalyan for the buddy cop comedy BROTHERED UP. It centers on Calvin, an emotionally guarded cop who is partnered with Farooq, an emotionally available Pakistani cop, and they are forced to find a way to connect as they patrol a Detroit neighborhood. Dungey has been cast as Desi, Calvin’s wife, the woman who knows him better than he knows himself.

Alex Russell has landed a series regular role in S.W.A.T. It is an action-packed procedural following a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. lieutenant, Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson, torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a highly-trained unit that is the last stop for solving crimes in Los Angeles. Russell has been cast as Jim Street, who has earned himself a reputation as a loose cannon with no regard for safety – he’s also the newest member of Hondo’s team.

Charmed alum Alyssa Milano has boarded drama INSATIABLE. The pilot is inspired by real-life Southern lawyer and top beauty pageant coach Bill Alverson, and centers on Bob, a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach who takes on Patty, a vengeful, bullied teenager, as his client and has no idea what he’s about to unleash upon the world. Milano has been cast as Coralee, Bob’s social-climbing wife.

Fox’s BEHIND ENEMY LINES adaptation has tapped Benito Martinez for a series regular role. The military soap thriller wherein a group of U.S. soldiers find themselves trapped behind enemy lines. It closely follows our soldiers on the ground and the officers and service men and women on a nearby aircraft carrier, along with intelligence officers in D.C. as they attempt to bring our heroes home safely and under the radar. Martinez has been cast as Mateo Rodriguez, a respected career Navy man and Executive Officer on the aircraft carrier USS Tyson.

CHICAGO P.D. has tapped Tracy Spiridakos for a recurring guest star role Spiridakos will play Detective Hailey Upton, a member of the robbery homicide unit, who has killer instincts, humor, and smarts. She will first appear in early May.

Game of Silence actor Al Sapienza has booked a recurring role in TOM CLANCY’S JACK RYAN starring John Krasinski. Jack Ryan uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale. Sapienza has been cast as Lt. Gen. Marcus Trent, associate director for military affairs.

RELLIK has netted Richard Dormer for the lead role in the limited series. It tells the story of a serial killer in reverse. The perpetrator is caught before the drama moves backwards in time to the very beginning – the crime itself. The search for the killer provides the backbone of the story but the damaged and disfigured met detective Gabriel Markham is at its center. Dormer has been cast as Gabriel Markham.

Jacqueline Obradors has signed on to star opposite JD Pardo in MAYANS MC. The series is set in the aftermath of Jax Teller’s death in Sons of Anarchy and focuses on the struggles of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California-Mexico border. Obradors has been cast as Marisol Reyes, the soulful matriarch of the Reyes family and EZ’s mother.

Angela Laketa Moore and Ellis Rubin have netted a series regular role in single-camera comedy LINDA FROM HR. It centers on the title role, Linda Plugh and how it only takes one bad decision to throw Linda from HR’s monotonous, unfulfilled life into an exciting but dangerous tailspin of balancing work life, home life, and a secret that could unravel everything. Moore has been cast as Sierra, a quick-witted and honest mother of young triplets, the cool girl from college that no one imagined as a supermom. Rubin has been cast as Linda’s son Howie, who is awkward and still coming in to his own.

The project is set in the a future when artificial intelligence greatly surpasses human intelligence, resulting in profound changes to our society.
