Scrubs grad John C. McGinley has booked a co-starring role in BROTHERED UP. The comedy centers on Romany Malco as Calvin, an emotionally guarded African-American cop who is partnered with Farooq, an emotionally available Pakistani cop, and they are forced to find a way to connect as they patrol a Detroit neighborhood. McGinley has been cast as Commander Lee, who treats his officers with respect and dignity and always tries to ensure that the team is happy.

Walking Dead actor Chad L. Coleman and Larry Joe Campbell have landed recurring roles in ORVILLE. Set 300 years in the future, the series follows the adventures of the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth’s interstellar fleet. Facing cosmic challenges from without and within, this motley crew of space explorers will boldly go where no comedic drama has gone before. Details of the actors roles are being kept under wraps.
Comedy series JEAN-CLAUDE VAN JOHNSON has booked Bar Paly for a major recurring role. The show stars Jean-Claude Van Damme in the title role as a global martial arts and film sensation… and, operating under the simple alias of “Johnson,” the most dangerous undercover private contractor in the world. Paly play Krisztina, the stunning actress who is the female lead in Jean-Claude’s movie, previously seen in the pilot.
Ron Livingston has boarded comedy DICE in a recurring role. The semi-autobiographical series digs deep into the many facets of Andrew Dice Clay – beyond the character who once sold out Madison Square Garden – as the unemployed comic struggles in the Vegas suburbs to be a loving father, a devoted boyfriend and a professional gambler who is stuck dealing with the effects of his outrageous brand of fame. Livingston has been cast as Sydney Stein, an entertainment lawyer who can schmooze you up one minute and turn on you the next.

Drama series QUEEN OF THE SOUTH has added Paola Andino in a recurring role for its sophomore season. The series tells the powerful story of Teresa Mendoza, a woman who is forced to run and seek refuge in America after her drug-dealing boyfriend is unexpectedly murdered in Mexico. In the process, she teams with an unlikely figure from her past to bring down the leader of the very drug trafficking ring that has her on the run. Andino has been cast as Olivia “Chaparra” Gutierrez, a party girl with a brash mouth and a taste for trouble who ushers her best friend Isabela Vargas into the narco-brat lifestyle – much to the chagrin of Isabela’s parents, the drug empire power couple at odds with each other, Camila and Epifanio Vargas.

Mira Sorvino has been tapped for the television adaptation of THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, based on the 1975 political thriller. The project follows Joe Turner, a young CIA analyst whose idealism is tested when he stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions. Sorvino has been cast as Marty Frost, an investigator who has come out of retirement to take over the investigation after an attack at Joe’s office.
