Katrina Lenk (The Band’s Visit) has booked a recurring role on the second season of CBS All Access drama series THE GOOD FIGHT. Lenk will play Nafatali Amado, the fiancée of Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker).
Actor-writer Biniam Bizuneh has been cast as the male lead in CULTURE CLASH, Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot. The series revolves around Abel (Bizuneh), a man from a bombastic African family that doesn’t have a word in their native language for “privacy,” and his fiancée Jenny (Beth Behrs), from a Midwestern family, as they try to build a normal life together — though nobody can agree what that “normal” means. Bizuneh’s Abel is a good natured and educated Ethiopian refugee who can be a smart mouth when pushed. His time spent in a refugee camp as a child before coming to America left him with a few rough edges.
Homeland alum Jackson Pace is set for a recurring role on the upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s hit comedy GRACE AND FRANKIE. Pace will play Luke. Character details are being kept under wraps.
Gavin Lewis (NCIS, Ominous), Theodore Barnes (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn), Shelby Simmons (Andi Mack) and Cynthia McWilliams (Real Husbands of Hollywood) are set as leads in live-action multi-camera comedy THE PRINCE OF PEORIA. Lewis’ Prince Emil is the gregarious, wide-eyed 13-year-old Prince of Buronia, who’s lived a sheltered life and dreams of one day having a best friend. Barnes’ Teddy is a fastidious 13-year-old who dreams of one day getting into the prestigious MIT Robotics Program. Simmons plays Sydney. The daughter of two professors, Sydney is a straight-A student and the first chair violinist in the school orchestra, but secretly has a bit of a wild side. McWilliams portrays Regina, Teddy’s fun-loving mom, who thinks her son takes himself way too seriously and would do anything to help him make friends.
Graham Rogers, who recurred on seeason 5 of Showtime’s hit drama series RAY DONOVAN, has been promotied to series regular for the upcoming sixth season. Rogers plays Smitty, the boyfriend of Bridget (Kerris Dorsey).
Halt and Catch Fire alum Toby Huss has been cast as a series regular and The Oath’s Katrina Law and Leah Gibson are set for major recurring roles in SACRED LIES, a half-hour drama, that has been given a 10-episode series order by Facebook Watch. The series is about a handless teen who escapes from a cult and finds herself in juvenile detention, suspected of knowing who killed her cult leader. Huss will play the Prophet. Law will portray Miss Bailey and Gibson is Vivienne.
