Former Grimm star David Giuntoli has been cast as one of the leads in ABC’s ensemble drama pilot A MILLION LITTLE THINGS. Giuntoli will play Eddie, a former frontman of a local band turned music teacher and stay at home dad. His marriage is on the rocks and although he loves being a dad, he can’t help but wonder what his life would have been like had he made different choices.
The Knick alum Eric Johnson is joining season 6 of History’s hit drama series VIKINGS as a series regular. Johnson will play Erik, a formidable warrior who is an outlaw living on his wits and martial skills.
Joseph Quinn, who can be seen in Howards End and Dickensian has joined the cast of BBC’s LES MISÉRABLES. Quinn is due to play Enjorlas, a revolutionary who dies for his beliefs in the June Rebellion.
Michael McManus (Seal Team), Jerod Haynes (Southside With You) and Banshee alum Frankie Faison have booked series regular roles on NBC’s THE VILLAGE pilot. McManus will play Sarah, a caring nurse, and mother of a pregnant teen who was a teen mom herself. Haynes will portray Ben, a local police officer and tenant of the apartment building. Faison will play Ron, a man who’s very caring and willing to help anyone.
Gracepoint alum Virginia Kull is set for a recurring role in season 2 of AT&T Audience Network’s breakout series MR. MERCEDES. Kull will play Sadie McDonald, a nurse on the neurology ward, known as the “Brain Bucket” at Mercy General Hospital. She’s an epileptic who has recently gone off her medication and is prone to occasional microscopic seizures which pull her away from the task at hand.
Hart Bochner has booked a recurring role on Amazon’s upcoming original series TOO OLD TO DIE YOUNG, from Nicolas Winding Refn. Bochner will play Lieutenant, a spiritual and larger than life man who believes in life’s mysticism.
