10 DAYS IN THE VALLEY has tapped Demi Moore to star in the drama project from Rassie Cameron, the co-creator/executive producer of Rookie Blue. The series centers on Jane Sadler, an overworked writer and single mother in the middle of a fractious separation. When her five-year-old daughter is taken from bed in the middle of the night, Jane must put everything on the line – including her TV series, her loyalties, and her own deep secrets – to get her child back.
The project hails from Skydance Television and is currently being shopped to networks.

POWERLESS’s cast just got a little more powerful as they have added Danny Pudi (Community), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One), and Christine Kirk (Manhattan). The series from A to Z‘s Ben Queen is a workplace comedy set at an insurance company that represents some of DC’s biggest heroes and villains.

Dancer/actor Colt Prattes has won the coveted role of Johnny in DIRTY DANCING, famously played in the original film by Patrick Swayze. He will star opposite Abigail Breslin as Baby in the pretaped movie for ABC.

Danny Pudi’s Community co-star Ken Jeong has landed a guest-starring role in FRESH OFF THE BOAT as the fraternal twin brother of family patriarch Louis. He arrives in town to personally invite Louis and Jessica to his wedding.

Kathryn Hahn, a comedy standout who has appeared in such acclaimed series as Amazon’s Transparent has booked the female lead of the online net’s comedy pilot I LOVE DICK. The series is written by Sarah Gubbins and is based on the 1997 novel by Chris Kraus.

Jenna Elfman and Stephen Schneider have been tapped for the lead roles in ABC’s untitled live-action/CGI comedy pilot from Adam F. Goldberg. The show centers on Alice, a bachelorette whose life turned upside-down when she finally meets the love of her life – a divorced father with three kids and triggers Alice’s childhood imaginary friend to reenter her life.

Teddy Sears, who can currently be seen on CW series, The Flash, will co-star in the Fox reboot 24: LEGACY with Corey Hawkins, Miranda Otto, and Anna Diop. Also from the The Flash, Peyton List who portrays the Golden Glider, will now lead her own CW series in FREQUENCY.

Taylor John Smith has won the role of Bash Casey in the buzzed about pilot of CRUEL INTENTIONS, a continuation of the story seen in the cult 1999 film of the same name. Ryan is the son of the film’s characters Sebastian and Annette played previously by Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon.

Sarah Ramos, best known for playing Hattie Braverman in NBC’s Parenthood has signed on for the net’s drama pilot MIDNIGHT, TEXAS. The series is based on the best selling trilogy by Charlain Harris who also penned the series that became HBO’s True Blood.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Syfy series INCORPORATED has cast Allison Miller as one of the leads in the series. The centers on Ben Larson, a young executive who conceals his true identity to infiltrate a very dangerous corporate world to save the woman he loves. But he’ll soon learn that he’s not the only one whose secrets might have deadly consequences.

The Amy Poehler-directed pilot from Charlie Grandy have tagged Tiya Sircar for a role in the series. She joins previously cast Elizabeth Perkins and Kevin Nealon.

Mad Men’s Jessica Pare has signed up for a role in Amazon pilot THE INTERESTINGS from TriStar Television. Written by Lyn Greene and Richard Levine and will be directed by Mike Newell. She will play Ash, the wife of a successful theater director and philanthropist who’s harboring a secret from her husband.

Fox’s baseball drama pilot PITCH has added Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo to the line up as series regulars. They join previously cast Kylie Bunbury and Mark-Paul Gosselaar in the series written by Dan Fogelman and Rick Singer.

Julianne Nicholson has won the lead role in USA’s straight-to-series drama EYEWITNESS. The series is an adaptation of the Norwegian crime thriller that explores a grisly crime from the point of view of the eyewitnesses. Nicholson will play Helen Torrance, a homicided detective who left her harrowing career to become a small-town sheriff and loving wife.
