The young-adult spinoff of cult sci-fi series Doctor Who, CLASS, has set its cast. Katherine Kelly will play a teacher and powerful new presence at the sci-fi drama’s Coal Hill School. Students of the school will be played by Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Sophie Hopkins, and Vivian Oparah. BBC America said each of the characters has “hidden secrets and desires. They are facing their own worst fears, navigating a life of friends, parents, school work, sex, sorrow – and possibly the end of existence.”
Caitlyn Jenner will appear in Amazon’s award-winning series TRANSPARENT. The announcement was made at Saturday’s GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles. Details on the role are being kept under wraps.

Faye Dunaway has been tapped for season two of Amazon’s HAND OF GOD in a recurring role. The series centers around Judge Pernell Harris (Ron Perlman) who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart by relying on “visions” he believes are being sent by god through his son. Dunaway has been cast as Valerie Harris, a calculating, rapacious, and “traditional” materfamilias of the powerful Harris family.

Katey Sagal has joined ABC’s three-hour remake of DIRTY DANCING. She will play Vivian Pressman, a former beauty queen who likes to seduce younger male staff members. She joins previously cast Abigail Breslin, Debra Messing, Colt Prattes, Billy Dee Williams, and Nicole Scherzinger.

Wilson Bethel and Dougray Scott have landed roles int he six-hour Discovery Channel miniseries HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS. The series follows the birth of the iconic motorcycle brand and will premiere September 5. Bethel is set as Ray Weishaar, a member of the Harley-Davidson “Wrecking Crew”, while Scott will play Randall James, CEO of Indian Motorcycles, Harley’s chief competitor.

Duane Henry has brooked a spot on NCIS. The role will guest star in the last two episodes of the current season and has an option for a series regular role for next season. The role is designed to fill the void left by the pending departure of Michael Weatherly. He will play MI-6 Office Clayton Reeves.

William Sadler has nabbed a recurring role in Epix spy series BERLIN STATION. The series follows Daniel Meyer (Richard Armitage), a newly anointed case officer who has arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin to uncover the source of a leak who has supplied information to a whistleblower. Sadler is set as Clay Williams, an edgy, authoritative, lifetime military man, and Director of the Counter Terrorism Center who arrives at Berlin Station with a mission to help solve a difficult situation.

THE MAGICIANS has tapped Trevor Einhorn for a recurring role in season two. The series is based on the bestselling novels by Lev Grossman. Einhorn will play Josh Hoberman a member of the mysteriously vanished Brakebills University Class of 2016.

Graham Beckel and Luke Kirby have joined Hulu’s WHEN THE STREET LIGHTS GO ON as series regulars. The coming-of-age thriller about a sleepy, surburban town that is rocked by the brutal murder of a high school girl and her teacher in the summer of 1983. Beckel has been cast as Chief Hall Hoffman, the soon-to-be-retired town sheriff, and Kirby has been cast as Andrew Koch, the high school newspaper adviser and mentor to Charlie Chambers.
Beckel is repped by Hess Entertainment. Kirby is repped by Gersh, Parseghian Pianco, and Gary Goddard Agency in Canada.
