Jessica Henwick has won the lead female role as martial arts expert Colleen Wing in Netflix Marvel series IRON FIST. Colleen runs her own dojo in New York and will serve as an invaluable ally to the titular character. The series is the third out of four series on Netflix introducing new heroes who will team up in The Defenders.
The casting teams Henwick with Finn Jones (who plays Danny Rand/Iron Fist). They both appeared in HBO’s Game Of Thrones though they never appeared together. Henwick played Nymeria, one of three sisters who are called ‘San Snakes’. She most recently appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as X-Winger fighter pilot Jessica Pava.

TOAST has booked Brooks Wheelan in a series regular role. The comedy from Shondaland revolves around engaged couple Max and Page, who, after their wedding rehearsal dinner, have their eclectic family and friends give toasts recalling anecdotes about the couple – but flasbacks reveal that the toasts don’t always get it right, as we watch the true story of their complicate, funny and relatable road marriage. Wheelan is set as Vince, an extreme sports enthusiast.

Clare-Hope Ashitey has been added to Fox’s event series SHOTS FIRED. The drama examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small town. Ashitey will play Kerry Beck, the wife of Deputy Joshua beck, who is struggling to keep her family and life together as the media spotlight bears down on her husband.

Johnny Kostrey has been tapped for season two of NBC’s AQUARIUS. The period drama follows David Duchovny as a cop who goes undercover to track Charles Manson and the Manson Family before their infamous murder spree. Kostrey is set as Voytek Frykowski, a loyal friend of director Roman Polanski and an ultimate victim of the Manson Family’s Cielo Drive murders.

Christina Ochoa has landed a recurring role on TNT’s ANIMAL KINGDOM. The series centers on 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody, who moves in with his wild, freewheeling grandmother and uncles in their Southern California beach town after his mother ODs. Ochoa is set as Renn Randall, an irreverent surfer.
Ochoa is repped by Greene & Associates and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
Catero Alain Colbert has been cast in a recurring role in Cameron Crowe’s ROADIES. The Showtime drama chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and pays homage to the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring the US for the successful arena-level group, The Staton-House Band. Colbert will play the band’s lead singer Tom Staton.

Todd Williams has joined TNT’s drama GOOD BEHAVIOR. The series is based on the book series by Blake Crouch and tells the story of Letty, a thief and a con artist whose life is always one wrong turn, one bad decision from implosion – which is exactly how she likes it. Williams will play Sean, a man from Letty’s past who comes back into her life with complicated and devastating agenda.
