Thriller drama DOOMSDAY has added Rachelle Lefevre, who will star opposite Jack Davenport. The series starts in the U.S. government institutes a secret think tank featuring the most creative minds in science and entertainment that is tasked with dreaming up man-made disaster scenarios and their possible solutions. Because the hypothetical ideas are deemed extremely dangerous, the list is sealed and the program shut down. But when catastrophe occurs that’s ripped from the pages of the missing doomsday book, the team is brought back years later to prevents the disasters of their own making. Lefevre has been cast as Faye,t he whip-smart and shrewd Deputy Director of Homeland Security who is at the helm when the Doomsday team reassembled to help thwart an attack on U.S. soil.

Rob Riggle is set to headline an untitled comedy from Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider. The project stars Riggle as Josh Keeler, an intellectual but emotionally challenged single dad who moves to Queens with his two young daughters and forms an unlikely family with the other residents in their apartment building.

Entourage alum Jeremy Piven has booked the lead role on WISDOM OF THE CROWD from The Good Wife’s Ted Humphrey. The show is based on the Israeli format and is inspired by the notion that a million minds are better than one. It follows Piven as a charismatic tech innovator who creates a cutting-edge crowd-sourcing hub to solve his own daughter’s murder, as well as revolutionizing crime-solving in San Francisco.

THE GOOD FIGHT, on CBS All Access, is adding Nyambi Nyambi. The Good Wife spinoff follows Diane Lockhart joining a new law firm after losing her money in a Ponzi scheme. Nyambi is set as Jay Dipersia, the firm’s long-time investigator.

Legal drama PERFECT CITIZEN has tapped Lenny Platt to join the cast. The series centers on the former general counsel for the NSA who, after his involvement as a whistleblower in an international scandal, embarks on a new career at a storied law firm in Boston. Once there, he must face the reality that half the country thinks he’s our greatest patriot, the other half thinks he’s a traitor. Platt is set to play Felix, the self-proclaimed “Alpha Associate” at the firm.

ME, MYSELF & I has tapped Kelen Coleman to join the half-hour. The series examines one man’s life over a 50-year span, somewhat in the vein of Boyhood. It will focus on the man’s three distinct periods: as a 14-year-old in 1991, a 40-year-old in present-day, and a 65-year-old in 2042. Coleman has been cast as Abby who, having inherited her dad’s love of basketball, is the general manager of the Chicago Bulls in 2042.

Roberto Aguire is joining Paul Attanasio’s untitled family cop drama pilot. The series centers on the multi-generational members of a Mexican-American family with deep roots in San Diego who intertwine personally and professionally due to their powerful careers in law enforcement. Aguire has been cast as Gustavo “Tavo” Medina, the middle child and undisputed “brain” of the Medina family who is a computer and technology expert with the San Diego PD.

Erinn Westbrook and Michael Provost have landed series regular roles in INSATIABLE. The project was inspired by real-life Southern lawyer and top beauty pageant coach Bill Alverson. It centers on Bob, a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach who takes on Patty, a vengeful, bullied teenager as his client, and has no idea what he’s about to unleash upon the world. Westbrook is set to play Azalea, a stunning, smart, confident, and manipulative beauty queen who hires Bob to be her pageant coach. Provost has been cast as Brick, a seemingly typical High School jock who is a little more complicated underneath the surface.

LIFE SENTENCE has added Brooke Lyons to star opposite Lucy Hale and Dylan Walsh. The series centers on Hale as Stella, a young woman diagnosed with terminal cancer. When she finds out that she’s not dying after all, she has to learn to live with the choices she made when she decided to “live like she was dying.” Lyons will play Elizabeth, Stella’s sister/the type-A oldest child.

Jason Rothenberg’s SEARCHERS pilot has booked Josh Kidd in a series role. The hour-long centers ona group of unlikely heroes who find themselves on the journey of a lifetime: Ten years after the deaths fo their parents, Cooper and his free-spirited sister Fable are forced to team up when they learn that their mother’s terrifying and bizarre stories might be a road map to discovering the great legends, myths, and unexplainable mysteries of the world. Kidd has been cast as Paul “Zin” Shepherd, a former military pilot who joins Fable’s team for the paycheck but stays for a deeper, more personal reason.

True Blood star Stephen Moyer is set to headline Fox’s untitled Marvel pilot. The action-adventure centers on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. Moyer has been cast as Reed, an ambitious attorney trying to balance the demands of his job at the DA’s office with his responsibilities to his family.

Trond Faus and Dan Gill have netted series regular roles in the comedy pilot THIN ICE from New Girl creator Liz Meriwether. The half-hour centers on Lou, who reclaims her dreams when she finds herself at the end of the earth – in Antarctica – surrounded by a group of brilliant misfits. Faus has been cast as Gunnar, a bit of a wild man who fled his homeland for the McMurdo station in Antarctica after his heart was broken. Gill will play Pete, a medic who is something of a womanizer stationed in Antarctica after stints in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bridesmaids scribe and The Boss co-star, Annie Mumolo, has landed the lead role in AMY’S BROTHER from Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone. The series is about an unconventional family that is formed when a successful type-A man, Matthew, and his estranged sister, Amy (Mumolo), and her two children find themselves not only back in one another’s lives but also living under one roof.
Mumolo has been cast as UTA and Thruline.
RED SPARROW has booked Sakina Jaffrey in a series regular role. The spy thriller is based on the Jason Matthews novel and follows Russian intelligence office Dominika Egorova, who is drafted against her will to become a Sparrow, a trained seductress. Jaffrey has been cast as Trish Forsythe, station commander of the CIA office in Helsinki, Finland.

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY has booked Demetrius Grosse for a series regular role opposite Mike Vogel and Anne Heche. The project is described as a heart-pounding look into the complex world of our bravest military heroes who make personal sacrifices while executing the msot challenging and dangerous missions behind enemy lines. Grosse has been cast as Juice, the third member of ISA Special Operations Group Unit 7, the team’s computer and communications expert and all-around tech badass, Juice is a lethal MacGyver.

Dancing with the Stars alum Derek Hough is joining Kourtney Kang’s single-camera comedy. The show centers on young Katie and explores what it’s like to grow up as the only girl in the only mixed-race family in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She deals with real-world issues like race and gender while never losing focus of her life goal: to become a Laker Girl like her idol Abdul. Hough is set to guest star in the pilot, in a potentially recurring role, as Mr. Riley, the new social studies teacher at Katie’s Catholic school and the hottest man she has ever seen.

Mindy Kaling’s untitled comedy on NBC has tapped JJ Totah to play Kaling’s son. The half-hour centers on Vince, a charismatic gym owner with no ambition who lives with his younger brother Michael, a gorgeous idiot. Their simple life of women and workin gout is put on hold when Vince’s teenage son Michael is dropped on their Queens, NY doorstep by Priya, one of Vince’s high school flings.

BAFTA, Emmy, and Tony winner Diana Rigg is joining the cast of VICTORIA for season two. The series follows the life of Queen Victoria, and stars Jena Coleman in the title role. Rigg has been cast as Duchess of Bucchleuch, the Queen’s Mistress of the Robes who is renowned for speaking her mind.
