Nat Faxon will guest star in the comedy pilot SPY. The project centers on a man who tries to prove himself to his highly intelligent son by joining the secret service. Faxon will play the man’s ex-wife’s new boyfriend. Rob Corddry, Mason Cook and Paget Brewster also star. Faxon starred as Ben in the fox comedy “Ben & Kate” and has an impressive writing career with partner Jim Rash that includes an Oscar win for “The Descendants” and the Sundance pic “The Way Way Back”. Brooklyn Sudano has joined the cast of the WESTSIDE pilot. The project is a modern re-imagining of “Romeo & Juliet” that sees two teenagers from rival families (Odette Annable and Luke Bracey) fall in love as their relatives battle for control of their city. Sudano will play Jess, Bracey’s girlfriend who waited six years for him to be released from prison, when she then finds out he is dating Annable. Sudano previously had roles in the shows “CSI: New York” and “The Unit”. She is repped by APA.
Troy Garity has joined the untitled John Leguizamo comedy pilot, which centers on Leguizamo as a man raising his family in New York’s upper-west side. Garity will play a character named Crash, one of Leguizamo’s oldest friends and his current assistant. Garity currently stars on the drama “Boss” and will appear in the film “Kerosene Cowboys”. He is repped by CAA.
INFLUENCE has added Wynn Everett to its cast. The project centers on two brothers (Steve Zahn and Christian Slater), a bi-polar genius and ex-convict respectively, who solve people’s problems with their respective talents and human motivation. Everett will play Slater’s ex-wife. Everett had a recurring role on Aaron Sorkin’s “The Newsroonm” and will next appear in the film “The Collective”. She is repped by Gersh.
Ashley Williams has joined the cast of KEEP CALM & KAREY ON. Kelly Preston stars as the ostracized ‘good kid’ of a family of criminals who decides to raise her sibling’s children when he gets sent to prison. Williams will play Preston’s sister, Penny. Williams has a recurring role as Victoria on the comedy series “How I Met Your Mother”. She is repped by Gersh.

Joe Dinicol, Margo Harshman, Charlie Saxton and Karan Soni have joined the cast of BETAS. The foursome play a group in Silicon Valley who develop an app that could change the world’s population’s lives for the better.

Kevin McNally and Angus Macfadyen have joined the cast of AMC’s TURN. The project is centered on Abe Woodhull, a New York farmer who created The Culper Ring during The Revolutionary War, which consisted of he and his childhood friends spying on the British and turning the tides of the war. McNally plays Abe’s father and Macfadyen plays Robert Rogers, a one-time war hero who has suffered a fall from grace and turns to the bottle. McNally is repped by Hatton McEwan and SMS Talent and Macfadyen by Innovative Artists. Also joining the cast is J.J. Field, who will play Major John Andre the head of Britain’s intelligence. Field starred alongside Chris Evans in “Captain America” and will next appear in “Austenland”. He is repped by UTA and Ken McReddie Associates.

Rainn Wilson and Page Kennedy have been cast in BACKSTROM. Wilson will play the titular character, an abrasive, overweight detective who consistently fails at making himself a better person. Beatrice Rosen has also joined the cast as Nadia a member of the Special Crimes Unit who works with Backstrom. Thomas Dekker and Camryn Manheim have also joined the project. Mamie Gummer has also joined the cast as Nicole Graveley, a lesbian detective getting over a recent breakup. Gummer, repped by CAA, appeared in the thriller “Side Effects”.
Amber Tamblyn will take the female lead in the drama pilot ANATOMY OF VIOLENCE. The project centers on a criminal psychiatrist, played by Skeet Ulrich, who partners up with Tamblyn, who joins the force after her sister is attacked by a gunman. Taymblyn has previously starred in “Portlandia” and “House” and will next appear in the film “Growing Up (And Other Lies)”. She is repped by UTA.
Caitlin Kimball and Katie Walder have joined the cast of the TV adaptation of the movie BAD TEACHER. Kimball is repped by The Talent House, LA and Walder by TalentWorks.

Manu Bennett has been promoted to a series regular on ARROW. Bennett starred in “The Hobbit” and is also featured in “Spartacus” as Crixus.

Ezekiel Stremiz has joined the comedy TWO WRONGS, which stars Jake Hoffman and Kelli Garner as a couple who nobody thinks is right for each other. Stremiz will play Garner’s ex-boyfriend. Stremiz currently stars in the series “Last Man Standing” and “Dexter”. He is repped by APA.
Kevin Hernandez and Tyler Foden have joined the cast of Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker’s untitled comedy pilot, formerly known as I SUCK AT GIRLS.
Terry O’Quinn has joined the crime-drama GANG RELATED. He is replacing Tom Berenger as Sam Chapel, the head of the gang task force. O’Quinn, perhaps best known for his role of John Locke on “Lost”, stars on “Hawaii Five-O” and was on the recently cancelled “666 Park Avenue”. He is repped by IFA Talent Agency.
S. Epatha Merkerson and Jeff Ross will guest star in BOOMERANG. Merkerson will star in the comedy “Peeples” and is repped by ICM. Ross, best known for his Comedy Central “Roast” appearances, is repped by WME.

Mike Castle will take the lead role in the untitled comedy from Robert Padnick and Greg Daniels. He will be replacing Josh Rabinowitz as Hirsch, one of a group of friends in the city trying to navigate their turbulent love lives. Castle is repped by CAA.
Elena Satine will star in THE SIXTH GUN, which is a supernatural-western which follows a girl (Laura Ramsey) who gets her hands on a mythical gun that awakens evil forces. Satine will play Missy Hume, a woman who holds another one of the mythical guns. Satine is currently featured on the Starz series “Magic City”. She is repped by ICM.
Owen Ellickson and Craig Robinson’s untitled comedy pilot has added Jane Adams to its cast. Robinson plays a washed out musician who transitions to life as a middle-school music teacher. Adams will play the school’s stressed-out principal, Jeanette. Adams will next appear in the drama film “All the Lights in the Sky”. She is repped by Gersh.
Spencer Grammer will star in the drama IRONSIDE, which is a reboot of the 1967 series of the same name. Blair Underwood stars as Robert T. Ironside, a proactive police detective who ends up in a wheelchair after being shot, but doesn’t let his disability get in the way of his work. Grammer will play Holly, a confrontational detective with a rough upbringing. She currently stars on “CSI” and will appear in the film “Sweetie Pie”. She is repped by UTA.
Christina Ricci will no longer star in the lead role for GIRLFRIEND IN A COMA. Ricci would have starred as a woman who wakes up from a coma and realizes that she has a seventeen-year-old daughter. (Miranda Cosgrove). The network is currently looking for a replacement.
Bianca Kajlich and Aly Michalka have joined the cast of UNDATEABLE. The project is centered on two guys who find common ground in the fact that neither of them can get girls. Kajlich will play one of their older sisters while Michalka will play a waitress at a bar they frequent. Kajlich is repped by UTA and currently stars on “Rules of Engagement”. Michalka will next appear in “Grown Ups 2” and “Long Time Gone”. She is repped by CAA.
