Robin Givens has been cast in TWISTED as a recurring character named Judy, a hip and outgoing divorced mom. Givens has appeared in episodes of “Chuck” and most recently “Suburgatory”. She is repped by Don Buchwald and Associates.

Erika Alexander has landed a recurring role on new show LOW WINTER SUN. She will play Louise “LC” Cullen, a strong and intimidating cop who is matter-of-fact and straightforward in everything she does. She’s best known for “Living Single” (at least to me), but has most recently had roles in “House M.D.”, “Suburgatory” and “Suits”. She is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency.
Larry Gilliard Jr. joins the season 4 cast of THE WALKING DEAD as a regular. He will play Bob Stookey, a former Army medic who is deeply haunted by his past — both before and after the apocalypse. He’s a loner, though he maintains a charming yet self-deprecating façade. Gilliard is probably best known for HBO’s “The Wire” but was most recently seen on “Southland” and “Army Wives”. He is repped by Innovative Artists.
FX
Nat Faxon has snatched up the lead for Andrew Gurland’s untitled comedy pilot. The story centers on a married man (Faxon) and his wife, who are best friends and determined to shake things up in order to save their marriage. Faxon is part of a writing duo with Jim Rash (“Community”) but is also an experienced tv comedian. He’s racked up roles on “Ben and Kate”, “Up All Night” and “Party Down”. He is repped by CAA.
Corey Stoll and Kevin Durand have joined the cast of Guillermo del Toro’s THE STRAIN, which revolves around a CDC ‘Canary’ team who are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. Stoll will play the lead, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather who heads the team. Stoll will play a second-generation Ukranian-American, a once-solitary rat exterminator who eagerly joins the war against vampires who have invaded New York. Stoll has launched in a higher arena thanks to great performance on Netflix’s “House of Cards”. He’s repped by UTA. Durand has appeared as either a hardened badass or a hardened jerk in “Lost”, “Threshold” and mini-series “Taken”. He is repped by WME.
FOX
Xosha Roquemore will reprise her role on THE MINDY PROJECT next season, but this time as a series regular. She’s appeared in both “Rescue Me” and “Southland” and is repped by SDB Partners.
TBS
Alexis Knapp has joined the cast of GROUND FLOOR. She will play Tori, a sexy co-worker who hits the clubs at night and catches up on her sleep at work. Knapp was last seen in the fun and sincere “Pitch Perfect” and will next appear in something (unimaginatively) titled “Vamp U”. She is repped by CAA.
USA
