Newly picked up comedy THE ODD COUPLE has lost Georgia King and Sarah Baker. King was attached to play Katie, a model who lives in the same buildings as Oscar and Felix and Baker was set to play Oscar’s assistant who spends most of her time apologizing to people who have been offended by Oscar’s rants. King is repped by Paradigm and Independent Talent Group and Baker is repped by Pakula/King & Associates and 3 Arts Entertainment.

John Barrowman has been promoted to series regular for season three of ARROW. He appeared in a few episodes in the first and second seasons as Malcolm/Dark Archer. Barrowman is repped by WME and Gavin Barker Associates.

Cory Michael Smith, Victoria Cartagena and Andrew Stewart-Jones have been promoted to series regulars on GOTHAM. The Batman prequel explores the origin stories of Commissioner Gordon as an idealistic rookie detective in Gotham City. Smith plays Edward Nygma who will eventually become The Riddler, Cartagena and Stewart-Jones play detectives in the major crime unit of the Gotham Police Department. Smith is repped by Paradigm and Circle of Confusion, Cartagena is with Gersh and Sweet 180, Stewart-Jones is repped by Stewart Talent and Smith Talent Group.

Marin Ireland joins the fourth season of GIRLS. Ireland will play rich but cold Logan, a classmate of Hannah’s at the Iowa Writer’s Workshop. She also stars in WE TV’s first scripted drama “The Divide.” Ireland is repped by ICM and Brookside Artist Management.

David Tennant and Olivia Colman will reprise their roles for season two of BROADCHURCH. The hit drama centers on a small coastal town that starts to be torn apart by the murder of a young boy. Tennant also appears in the American version of the series “Gracepoint” on Fox. Tennant is repped by Independent Talent Group and UTA, Colman is with ICM and United Agents.

Midseason comedy series MISSION CONTROL will recast one of its leads. The workplace ensemble is set in 1962 and follows what happens when a strong woman butts heads with a macho astronaut in the race to land on the moon. The project is recasting the role of Bus who was played by Michael Rosenbaum in the pilot.
Tina Fey and Robert Carlock’s comedy UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT adds “30 Rock” alum Jane Krakowski to its cast. Krakowski will play a recurring role on the project which stars Ellie Kemper as Kimmy, a wide eyed woman who, after living with a cult for 15 years, decides to reclaim her life and moves to New York. Krakowski will play a rich mother who hires Kimmy as a nanny. She is repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment.

Joan Chen has joined the cast of MARCO POLO, an adventure series following the famed explorer as a young man who finds himself at the center of a brutal war between two empires in 13th century China. Chen has been cast as Chabi, the empress of the Yuan Dynasty. She is repped by Inphenate.

Alexandra Shipp will star in the TV movie DRUMLINE: A NEW BEAT, a sequel to Nick Cannon’s 2002 film “Drumline.” The project will focus on a new set of characters at Atlanta A&T University. Shipp will play an upper class Brooklyn girl who defies her parents in order to attend the school where she plans to join and revitalize the drumline. Also cast are Leonard Roberts, Letoya Luckett, Jasmine Burke, Jeff Pierre and Jordan Calloway. Shipp is repped by The Osbrink Agency and Elevate Entertainment.
