“Office” star Melora Hardin is set to co-star in comedy series TRANSPARENT. The project follows the family dynamic of three adult siblings after their father’s announcement that he is a transwoman. Hardin plays Tammy, a hip lesbian friend of one of the daughters. She joins Jay Duplass, Gaby Hoffman, Jeffrey Tambor and Amy Landecker. Hardin is repped by Framework, The Kohner Agency and Myman Abel.

Catherine Dent has been as in GALYNTINE, a drama written by Jason Cahill and directed by David MacKenzie. The fantasy action/adventure is set in a post-apocalyptic future without technology where a small group of survivors is forced to adapt to their new reality. Dent will play Haven, a survivor who lived through the disaster with her two children. She is repped by SDB Partners and Harris Spylios.

John Wesley Shipp has been cast in the rebooted series THE FLASH. Shipp played Barry Allen, aka The Flash, in the original CBS series and has been cast in an unspecified role for the reboot. He is repped by Stewart Talent.

DESCENDANTS has found it villains in Maz Jobrani (as Jafar), Kathy Najimy (as the Evil Queen), and Wendy Raquel Robinson (as Cruella de Vil). The original movie is set in a present-day idyllic kingdom where the benevolent teenage son of King Beast and Queen Belle offers a chance at redemption for the troublemaking offspring of Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Jafar. Kristin Chenoweth will play Maleficent while Melanie Paxson has been caset as the Fairy Godmother. Rocker Marilyn Manson has joined the cast of SONS OF ANARCHY, the biker drama about a man in his early 30s who struggles to find a balance in his life between being a new dad and his involvement in a motorcycle club. Manson will play a white supremacist prison shot-caller. He is repped by CAA.

Ben Robson has been added to the cast of VIKINGS, a drama series centering Ragnar on a restless young warrior who longs to conquer lands across the sea. Robson will play Kalf, the second-in-command to Ragnar’s former wife Lagertha. Robson is repped by UTA and Management 360.
Rob Morrow joins the cast of miniseries TEXAS RISING. The project centers on the rise of the legendary Texas Rangers. Morrow will play Colonel Fannin, a passionate member of the Texas Army who follows his heart more often than he follows his orders. He is repped by Gersh, Berwick & Kovacik and Jackson Tyerman.

Charlie Cox is set to star in the Marvel series DAREDEVIL. The series is the first of four planned series following different superheroes who will then come together for an Avenger-like miniseries at the end. Cox will play Daredevil/Matt Murdock, a superhero who was blinded as a young boy which heightened his other senses, making it possible for him to fight crime. Cox is repped by WME and United Agents.

Steve Kazee has been cast in SHAMELESS. The Tony award winner will play a rock musician in a band who meets up with Fiona and her family at a new diner where she works. Kazee is repped by Innovative and D2 Management.
