Leah Gibson and Rhys Ward have been cast in recurring roles in Carlton Cuse’s upcoming series THE RETURNED. The drama adaptation centers on a small town rocked to the core after several local people return from the dead. Gibson will play Lucy, a free-spirited traveler and waitress while Ward has been cast as Adam, a man with a dark past and a complicated family history he’s trying to get away from. Johnathan Adams has been promoted to series regular on LAST MAN STANDING. He plays Chuck Larabee on the comedy which stars Tim Allen as a family man who is surrounded by women. Adams is repped by Weissenbach Management.

Charlotte D’Ambroise has joined the pilot for the drama GALYNTINE. The new show is set in a postapocalyptic future without technology where a band of survivors face the challenges of their new world. D’Ambroise is repped by Joan Sittenfield Management.

Comedian Paul Reiser has been cast in the comedy pilot RED OAKS. The Steven Soderbergh executive produced project centers on David Myers, a 20-year-old who takes a job as an assistant tennis pro at a Jewish country club and tries to figure out what to do with his life. Reiser will play the wealthy and snobby president of the club’s board. He is repped by Gersh and New Wave Entertainment.

Charles Mesure and C. Thomas Howell join the cast of GIRLFRIENDS’ GUIDE TO DIVORCE. The series centers on the author of a self-help book series who’s hiding her separation from her husband from the public and has to re-enter the dating pool. Mesure, who is repped by Kathryn Rawlings Actors Agency, will play the ex-husband of one of the main character’s friends, while Howell, repped by Innovative Artists and Radius Entertainment, will play the love interest of the main character.
J. August Richards has also been cast in GIRLFRIENDS’ GUIDE TO DIVORCE. Richards will play Ford, a married gay man who is a trend aficionado. He is repped by APA and Greenlight Management and Production.

Craig Frank has been promoted to series regular on THE MESSENGERS. The series begins after a mysterious object crashes to Earth and a group of random strangers die from the energy pulse. They awaken to learn that they’re responsible for preventing the coming Apocalypse. Frank plays Alan, a likable tech nerd who works at the National Deep Space Agency. He is repped by Industry Entertainment and Innovative Artists.

Sam Worthington, Hugh Dancy, Charles Dance and Rachel Griffiths are all set to star in DEADLINE GALLIPOLI, an Australian miniseries that explores the origin of the Gallipoli legend when Aussie troops were sent into a doomed battle in Turkey in WWII. The project centers on four journalists fighting the higher ups in the military to find the truth and stop the violence. Worthington, who is repped by CAA, Shanahan Management, and Anonymous Content, will also serve as executive producer for the project. Wrenn Schmidt is set to recur on TYRANT, a drama series that follows the lives of an unassuming American family who are drawn into the world of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation. Schmidt will recur as Jenna, the younger sister of the family matriarch. She is repped by ICM and Davis/Spylios.

“Star Trek” star Zachary Quinto heads back to the small screen with a guest appearance on GIRLS. Quinto briefly joins the cast of the popular comedy in its fourth season, which stars Lena Dunham and Allison Williams. Quinto is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.

Jason O’Mara is set to play George Washington in the upcoming miniseries SONS OF LIBERTY. The project focuses on the Founding Fathers and their push to separate from England. O’Mara is repped by Independent Talent Group, UTA and Innovative Artists.

Singer/actress Zendaya will star in the original movie AALIYAH: PRINCESS OF R&B. The project centers on the life of the late artist Aaliyah who died in a plane crash in 2001. She is repped by CAA and Monster Talent Management.
Director Angela Bassett has cast Arlen Escarpeta as Bobby Brown in the upcoming biopic WHITNEY HOUSTON. Escarpeta joins Yaya DaCosta Alafia who will play Houston. Escarpeta is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Karen Forman Management.

Grey Damon and Emma Dumont have been cast in AQUARIUS, a police drama about a cop (David Duchovny) who goes undercover to track down Charles Manson and the Manson family before the infamous murder spree. “Game of Thrones” alum Gethin Anthony has been cast as Manson while Damon will play Duchovny’s partner and Dumont plays the daughter of Grace Karn. Anthony is repped by United Agents and Management 360, Damon is with Paradigm and Dumont is repped by Gersh and Untitled.
Jack Coleman, who starred in “Heroes” as Noah Bennett, is set to reprise his role in the upcoming miniseries reboot HEROES REBORN. The project replicates the premise of “Heroes” in its first season where people realize they have extraordinary abilities. Coleman is repped by Domain and Steven Levy.
Max Jenkins has been cast in a recurring role in THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA. Jenkins appeared in a guest role in the series pilot as Max Carnegie. The project focuses on a female homicide detective who can easily handle criminals but struggles to keep up with her own twins. Jenkins is repped by Stewart Talent and The Katz Company.
DAREDEVIL gains Rosario Dawson as a dedicated young woman whose quest to heal the wounds of Hell’s Kitchen brings blind attorney Matt Murdock unexpectedly into her life. Dawson joins Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in the superhero series. Dawson is repped by CAA and Untitled.
Even though the second season just came out, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK is already casting (and shooting) it’s third season. Mary Steenburgen is joining the cast of the women’s prison dramedy. No word yet on her role in the series. Steenburgen is repped by UTA and Management 360.
Aussie actress Yael Stone has been promoted to series regular on the upcoming third season of ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK. Stone has recurred in the previous two seasons as inmate Lorna Morello. She is repped by Gersh, Andy Corren and Shanahan.
Martin Sheen is heading back to TV. Sort of. The actor is joining GRACE AND FRANKIE, the comedy starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin about two women whose husbands announce they are in love with each other and plan to get married. Sheen is repped by ICM.
Manolo Cardona Cardona is joining the cast of NARCOS as a series regular. The drama is focused on the true-life story of the proliferation of cocaine drug cartels across the world. He will play Eduardo Mendoza, the chief of the National Prison System. Cardona is repped by D2 Management.

Seth Green will be voicing Leonardo for the third season of Nick’s CG-animated TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. He replaces Jason Biggs, who is on “Orange Is the New Black.” Green is repped by UTA and Koopman Management.

Raza Jaffrey joins HOMELAND in a recurring role for the drama’s fourth season. He will play Asar Khan, a decorated Lieutenant Colonel in Pakistan’s ISI intelligence service. Jaffrey is repped by Gotham, Principal Entertainment and United Artists.
Erin Cummings joins the cast of MASTERS OF SEX in a guest role. She will play Kitty, a high class prostitute with a no-nonsense attitude who will take part in the research conducted by Masters and Johnson. Cummings is repped by Untitled Management and Paradigm.

Laura Mennell is the latest to join the cast of HAVEN in the recurring role of Dr. Erin Reid, an epidemiologist from the CDC. Mennell is repped by ICM. The SyFy show is currently filming its 5th season.
Z NATION is fleshing out its cast, adding Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott, DJ Qualls, Michael Welch, and Kellita Smith. The series depicts the struggle to save humanity after a zombie apocalypse. “Smallville” star Michael Rosenbaum is set to lead IMPASTOR, a comedy about a con man who convinces people in a small town that he’s they’re newly hired gay pastor. Rosenbaum is repped by APA and Untitled Entertainment.

Angela Bettis joins the cast of DIG, an event series from Tim Kring that centers on an FBI agent in Jerusalem who uncovers a 2000 year old conspiracy while investigating the murder of a female archaeologist. Bettis will play Faye, a devout follower of evangelist Ted Billingham. She is repped by Benderspink.
“Bates Motel” star Michael Vartan is set to join the cast of upcoming series SATISFACTION. The series follows a couple in the middle of their marriage and asks the question: “What do you do when having it all isn’t enough?” Vartan will recur as a male escort. He is repped by UTA and Thruline.
