James D’Arcy will join Hayley Atwell on AGENT CARTER. The Marvel spinoff series focuses on Agent Peggy Carter, as she goes on secret missions for Howard Stark after losing the love of her life Steve Rogers. D’Arcy will play Stark’s butler and ally to Carter. D’Arcy is repped by CAA and Management 360.
Mykelti Williamson has booked a recurring role on the third season of NASHVILLE. The musical drama series centers on an aging country star who feels threatened by the up and coming talent around her as she tries to stay current. Williamson will play Terry, a brilliant musician who lives as a nomad on the streets of Nashville after a personal tragedy. Williamson is repped by Paradigm and Frontline Management.
Annika Marks has a recurring role on THE FOSTERS, a family drama centering on a modern family consisting of a lesbian couple and the foster children they take in. Nathan Parsons is set to star in Carlton Cuse and Randall Wallace’s POINT OF HONOR. The Civil War family drama project centers on two best friends and brothers-in-law who find themselves on opposite sides of the war. Parsons co-stars with Luke Benward. Owain Yeoman has been cast on TURN, the Revolutionary War drama starring Jamie Bell. The series centers on a New York farmer in the summer of 1778 who rallies a group of spies who help turn the tide in America’s favor during the Revolution. Andra Fuller joins the cast of THE GAME for its upcoming eighth season. The “Girlfriends” spinoff series follows a group of women who are all in relationships with football players. AnnaLynne McCord has been cast on the upcoming crime thriller series STALKER. The series, starring Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q, follows the detectives of the LAPD stalker unit. Famed activist Gloria Steinem will have a cameo on the upcoming sixth season of THE GOOD WIFE. She will play herself on the series and will go up against Julianna Margulies’ Alicia Florrick.
Chike Okonkwo will have a multi-episode arc on BANSHEE. The series centers on an ex-con and thief who takes on the identity of a murdered sheriff where he continues his criminal activities. Victor Garber and Jessica Lowndes will join the cast of MOTIVE. Garber will have a recurring guest role, while Lowndes will guest star on the third season of the police procedural. Nick Tarabay has been cast as villain Digger Harkness/Captain Boomerang on ARROW. The series centers on the son of a billionaire who, after returning home after being lost at sea, works as a vigilante in his hometown using his superhuman abilities. The coming of age drama, written and produced by Margaret Nagle, centers on a group of teens who are long term patients in the pediatric wing of a hospital. Skyler Samuels has nabbed a major recurring role on the fourth season of Ryan Murphy’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW. This season of the series is set in Florida and follows the last of an old time “Freak Show” after people stop coming to shows. Aubrey Plaza has been cast as the voice for Grumpy Cat in the upcoming TV movie GRUMPY CAT’S WORST CHRISTMAS EVER. Tim Hill and Jeff Morris penned the script, which centers on a cat who is constantly overlooked and the little girl who can communicate with her. Plaza is repped by CAA.
Alexandra Shipp has been cast as the lead in AALIYAH: THE PRINCESS OF R&B. The made for TV movie follows the performer’s inspirational journey to become the Princess of R&B before tragically losing her life in a plane crash. Shipp is repped by Osbrink Talent Agency and Elevate Entertainment.
Casey Deidrick, John Garet Stoker, and Kiersey Clemons are set to co-star on EYE CANDY. She begins to work with hackers to solve mysterious serial cyber murders.
Comedian Pete Davidson will join late night comedy sketch series SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE for its upcoming 40th season. Davidson joins fellow cast members Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, Noel Wells, John Milhiser, Brooks Wheelan and Michael Patrick O’Brien.
Nat Faxon has been cast in a guest role on the freshman comedy series MARRY ME. Casey Wilson and Ken Marino star as a couple who get engaged but find that planning their wedding is much harder than they expected. Faxon will play Scooby, Wilson’s cousin. Edie Falco stars as a drug addicted nurse who struggles with addiction both at home and at work. Rotimi Akinosho has nabbed a series regular role on POWER. The drama series stars Omari Hardwick as a wealthy nightclub owner to lives a double life as a drug kingpin. Akinosho will play Dre, the protege of Kanan, played by 50 Cent. Akinosho is repped by UTA and Category 5.
Chris Chalk, Tim Peper, Eric Edelstein, and Ronreaco Lee have joined the cast of COMPLICATIONS. The series centers on a suburban ER doctor who intervenes in a drive-by shooting, saving the life of a young boy and killing his attacker, which changes his life forever. Jason O’Mara, Jessica Szohr, Beth Riesgraf, and Lauren Stamile are the series regulars on the show.
Zach Gilford and Jonathan Cake join Jennifer Carpenter on the drama pilot STANISTAN. The project centers on the staff of an American compound in the Middle East where State Department employees, CIA officers and journalists work together, not always in harmony. Gilford will play Phillip Guthrey, an Infrastructure Deputy Manager, while Cake has been cast as Greg Weir, a foreign correspondent.
