Allie Grant is headed to THE GOLDBERGS, the 1980s comedy from Adam Goldberg. She will guest star as Evelyn, a mini-version of Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey), including the uncontrollable need to smother even though she’s a teenager. Grant is repped by Paradigm and Sweeney Entertainment.
Wilson Bethel and Evan Handler have both joined the cast of the upcoming drama series ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB. The series follows the women behind the astronauts during America’s race to space. Bethel has been cast as Scott Carpenter, a laid back astronaut and the husband of Rene Carpenter. Handler will play Duncan Dunk Pringle, a former athlete and PR officer at NASA. Bethel is repped by Gersh, LINK Entertainment, and Zero Gravity Management, while Handler is with APA.

Katherine Parkinson, Tom Goodman-Hill, Gemma Chan, Neil Maskell, and Colin Morgan will all star in HUMANS, an eight-episode sci-fi drama. The project, adapted from the Swedish series, is set in a parallel present where the hottest gadget on the market is a highly developed robot servant, which is strikingly similar to its human counterpart. Parkinson and Goodman-Hill play a couple who purchase a refurbished bot (Chan) and learn that sharing their home with a machine has consequences. Maskell will play Pete Drummond, a member of the Special Technologies Task Force, while Morgan has been cast as Leo, a man who is on the run from the law. Parkinson is repped by United Agents, Goodman-Hill is repped by Scott Marshall Partners. Chan is with Independent Talent Group and Schachter/Brown, Maskell is with Independent Talent Group, and Morgan is repped by United Agents.
Alexandra Breckenridge has booked a recurring role on the fifth season of THE WALKING DEAD. The zombie series follows a group of regular people who battle the undead and each other, just trying to survive in the new world order. Breckenridge has been cast as Samantha, a strong, smart, articulate woman with a vulnerable side. Breckenridge is repped by Gersh and Mosaic.

Colin Hanks and Beverly D’Angelo have both been cast in guest spots on MOM. The comedy series, now in its second season, stars Allison Janney and Anna Faris as a mother and daughter battling alcoholism. Hanks will play a potential love interest of Faris’, while D’Angelo will play the ex-wife of Faris’ father, played by Kevin Pollak. Hanks is repped by UTA and The Schiff Company, D’Angelo is repped by ICM.
Hasan Minhaj and Trevor Noah are joining the cast of THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART. Minhaj has signed on as a correspondent, beginning next month, while Noah will be joining in December as a contributor. Minhaj is repped by Principato-Young Entertainment. Noah is repped by CAA and Levity Entertainment Group.
Nathan Gamble is set to guest star on CSI: CYBER, the CSI spin-off that follows Special Agent Avery Ryan as she works to solve crimes as a CyberPsychologist for the FBI. He will pay Aaron Sifte, son of Deputy Director Simon Sifte (Peter MacNicol), who participates in cyber bullying. Gamble is repped by Paradigm and Strong Management.

Sam Neill has joined the cast of THE DOVEKEEPERS, a miniseries based on Alice Hoffman’s historical novel. The project, from Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, centers on four women whose lives intersect as they fight to survive at the seige of Masada. Neill has been cast as Josephus, a first century Jewish scholar and historian. He is repped by ICM, Curtis Brown Group and Shanahan Management.

Billy Eichner has booked a role on the upcoming holiday episode of NEW GIRL. Eichner has been cast as Barry, an airline representative who meets the gang while they’re truing to get out of LA for the Christmas holiday. Eichner is repped by WME.
Gregg Henry will now be a series regular for the third season of THE FOLLOWING. The crime drama centers on a brilliant but psychotic serial killer who leads a cult of fellow killers. Henry plays Dr. Arthur Strauss on the series, the mentor of James Purefoy’s psychotic Joe. He is repped by Domain.
Greta Lee has landed a recurring role on NEW GIRLS, the comedy about a young woman who moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Lee will play the granddaughter of Tran (Ralph Ahn), the elderly mute man that Nick (Jake Johnson) once befriended in a park. She is repped by CAA and Regarding Entertainment.

Duke Davis Roberts has landed a recurring role on the sixth and final season of drama series JUSTIFIED. The series stars Timothy Olyphant as a U.S. Marshall who is reassigned from Miami to his dinky home town. Roberts will play Mundo, an ex-military man from Colorado. He is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Trademark Talent.

Devon Terrell has been cast as the lead in Steve McQueen’s drama pilot CODES OF CONDUCT. The series centers on Beverly Snow (Terrell), a young man from Queens as talented as he is ambiguous and explores a young black man’s experience entering New York high society. This is Devon Terrell’s first screen credit.
Seth Rogen has booked a two-episode arc opposite Lisa Kudrow on THE COMEBACK. The series, which was recently revived at HBO stars Kudrow as a has-been sitcom star who is poised for a comeback. Rogen will play himself in the series. He is repped by UTA and Principal Entertainment.

Sammi Hanratty has signed on to SEEDS OF YESTERDAY, the fourth (and finale) installment of the Flowers in the Attic series. Based on the V.C. Andrews novel, the series centers a troubled family with dark, complicated secrets. Seeds of Yesterday will follow the Dollangager family as their deeply troubled relationships, dark secrets, and tragedy come to a head and will haunt the family forever. Hanratty will play Cindy Sheffield, the rebellious adopted daughter of Chris and Cathy Dollanganger. She is repped by Paradigm and Zero Gravity Management.

Marshall Allman is joining the cast of KEN JEONG MADE ME DO IT. The comedy centers on 22-year-old everyman Andy (Allman), who, after catching his girlfriend cheating, accidentally rear-ends Ken Jeong’s car. Jeong, playing himself, takes it upon himself to teach him how to man up. Allman is repped by Gersh and 3 Arts Entertainment. Bonnie Dennison and Justin Hires also star.
Brian Jordan Alvarez, Ben Bledsoe, and Derek Goh have all joined the cast of SELF PROMOTION. The dark comedy pilot, directed by Zach Braff, follows Katie, an overworked assistant who finds out that her dragon lady boss is missing and she’s the prime suspect. Alvarez, repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment and Ziffren Brittenham, will play Wyatt, a co-worker of Katie’s, while Bledsoe, repped by TalentWorks, has been cast as Josh Welsh, a political advisor. Goh, repped by Gersh and The Group Entertainment, will play Andrew, a slacker intern.

Jeremy Shamos has booked a major recurring role on the seventhn season of NURSE JACKIE. The series stars Edie Falco as drug addicted nurse who struggles to balance her work life and her personal life. Shamos will play Anders Carlsson, a Norwegian real estate developer. Keith Robinson and Richard T. Jones have been cast in the UP Network’s LYFE’S JOURNEY. The TV movie follows a successful bank manager, devoted husband and father of a little girl — with another on the way — whose life crashes in on itself in a tough economy. Robinson will play David Lyfe, the lead. Jones is set to play Pastor Taylor, who shows Lyfe kindness, in the process revealing that everything in life has a purpose. Robinson is repped by APA and D2 Management. Jones is repped by Mavrick Artists Agency and Luber Roklin Entertainment.

Mena Suvari is in final negotiations to play the lead in SOUTH OF HELL, the original scripted series from Sonar Entertainment and Blumhouse Television. The supernatural thriller set in South Carolina centers on Maria Abascal (Suvari), a demon-hunter-for-hire whose power stems from within. Jason Blum and Eli Roth are producing. Suvari is repped by ICM and Alchemy Entertainment.

Joel Hodgson and Trace Beaulieu have joined the cast of Paul Feig’s OTHER SPACE. The half hour comedy project centers on a group of space explorers in the 22nd Century who are already sick and tired of mapping the known universe. Bealieu will voice a robot, just like he did on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Karen Soni, Eugene Cordero, Milana Vayntrub, Conor Leslie, Neil Casey, and Bess Rous round out the cast. Beaulieu is repped by Glenn Schwartz Company and Hi-Road Entertainment.
