Natalie Morales has been added to the cast of the comedy pilot TROPHY WIFE which follows a woman (Malin Akerman) trying to assimilate to her rich husbands wild family. Morales will play Meg, Akerman’s best friend. Morales, who was a regular on the USA series “White Collar”, currently stars on “90210” and had a recent turn on Aaron Sorkin’s “The Newsroom”. William Lucking will have a guest role in the upcoming season of ABC Family’s SWITCHED AT BIRTH. He will play the tough father of character John Kennish. Lucking was a regular on the popular FX series “Sons of Anarchy” and recently starred in the Mark Wahlberg film “Contraband”. He is repped by Craig Wyckoff and Associates.
Sienna Guillory has joined the cast of the upcoming season of LUTHER. She will star alongside Idris Elba who plays the lead role of John Luther, a homicidal and destructive detective. Guillory will play a character named Mary, who works in a clothing shop when she meets Luther. A star of the past three “Resident Evil” films, Guillory will next be seen in the pics “Superstition” and “Rabbit Fever”. She is repped by UTA.
Richard Kohnke will have a recurring role on the network’s THE CARRIE DIARIES, which serves as a prequel to “Sex and the City” and follows a teenage Carrie Bradshaw played by AnnaSophia Robb. Kohnke will play George, a confident, attractive Manhattan young adult who becomes a potential love interest for Carrie. Kohnke is repped by Innovative Artists.
“Boy Meets World” fans can rejoice in knowing that the series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will star in the sequel series GIRL MEETS WORLD. The series follows Riley, the thirteen-year-old daughter of Cory and Topanga (Savage and Fishel). Since “Boy Meets World” ended its seven-year run in 2000, Savage has had several TV roles including in “Chuck”, “Bones” and “Without a Trace”. He is repped by Abrams Artists Agency. Fishel has since appeared in several series as well including “Yes, Dear”, “Nikki” and “Parks and Recreation”.
Seth Rogen and Jeff Goldblum will both be reprising their guest toles of Dirty Randy and Rupert Ruxin in the upcoming season of THE LEAGUE. Randy, a pornographer on the show, will appear in an episode where he believes December 12th is the end of the world. Ruxin will be featured in the season finale. Comedy star Rogen most recently starred in wife Lauren Miller’s sex hotline comedy “For A Good Time Call…” and will next be seen alongside Barbra Streisand in “The Guilt Trip”. He is repped by UTA. ARMY WIVES has cast Ashanti, Torrey DeVitto and Elle McLemore for its upcoming seventh season. Ashanti will play Latasha Durant, a mother of three who keeps her husband in line. DeVitto will play Maggie Hall, a former Army paratrooper-turned-truck driver who is married to a Staff Sergeant in the Army. McLemore will play Holly Gordon, a farm girl newly married to a soldier. TEEN WOLF has added Charlie and Max Carver, Adelaide Kane and Felisha Terrell to its cast for the upcoming third season. The Carver brothers will play a set of twin werewolves named Ethan and Aidan. Kane will play a mysterious new woman to town named Cora. Terrell will play a ruthless werewolf named Kali. Charlie Carver is repped by TalentWorks while his brother is repped by Rebel Entertainment Partners. Kane is repped by WME. Also joining the cast is actress Haley Webb, who will play Derek Hale’s love interest. Webb has been featured in the shows “Close to Home”, “Shark” and “Major Crimes”. Taryn Manning has joined the cast of Jenji Kohan’s netflix series ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK. The project follows a mid-twenties girl (Taylor Schilling) who is arrested with her drug-muling boyfriend and sent to prison. Manning will play Tiffany Pennsatucky” Doggett, a formely wild inmate from Virginia who’s reformed herself. Manning currently stars on “Hawaii Five-O” after recent roles on “Burn Notice” and “Law & Order: SVU”. She is repped by APA.
Duane Martin and Sheryl Lee Ralph will star in the Nick at Nite comedy INSTANT MOM alongside Tia Mowry, Sydney Park, Tylen Williams and Damarr Calhoun. Mowry stars as a mid-twenties party girl who settles for a more reserved life when she marries an older man (Martin) with children. Ralph will play Mowry’s mother. Martin currently stars on the mockumentary series “The Real Husbands of Hollywood” and recently starred as Chuck in the Lifetime series “Rita Rocks”. He is repped by The Kohner Agency. Ralph has two wrapped films coming up- “The Lot” and “Baby of the Family”. She is repped by SMS Talent.
Nick at Nite has since recast Michael Boatman in the role Martin was attached to after a table read.
Mark Ryan has joined the cast of Michael Bay’s BLACK SAILS. He will play the right-hand-man to Captain Flint in the series based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island”. Ryan last starred in the series “Alias” but was also seen in Bay’s 2009 pic “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”.
MONDAY MORNINGS has added comedian Kevin Shinick to its cast for a season arc. He will play Levi Hostetler, a religous man brought to the hospital with arm tremors. Shinick has been a writer and voice cast member of the acclaimed Cartoon Network series “Robot Chicken” and currently stars on the series “Grimm”. He is repped by CAA.
Serinda Swan has been upped to a regular on GRACELAND. The project follows a group of CIA, FBI and customs agents who are forced to live together in a California beach house to take down their targets. Swan plays Paige Arkin, an intense agent who uses her sex appeal to infiltrate drug rings. Swan has previously starred on “Hawaii Five-O” and was a regular on “Breakout Kings”. She will next be seen in the film “The Baytown Outlaws”. She is repped by UTA.
