Patrick J. Adams has apparently landed a guest role on the second season of the BBC America series ORPHAN BLACK. He will play Jesse, an average joe who gets into a whole mess of trouble when Tatiana Maslany’s clone characters enter his life. Repped by UTA, Adams is best known for his role as Mike Ross on USA’s “Suits”, but has also appeared in “6 Month Rule”, “Old School” and “Luck” as Nathan Israel. The second season of “Orphan Black” is scheduled to air on BBC America April 19, 2014.
Eddie Matos has joined the cast of HART OF DIXIE in a recurring role. He will play Enrique, the “gorgeous” Latino driver who is saving money to attend poetry school. Matos is best known for “All My Children” as is repped by Talentworks.
Judith Light has joined the cast of Fox’s comedy RAISING HOPE. She will have a guest appearance as Virginia’s (Martha Plimpton) boss Judith on an episode early in 2014. Light last appeared in “Scrooge & Marley”, the second season of TNT’s “Dallas” and the Tom Dolby penned “Last Weekend.” She’ll next appear in Jill Soloway’s TV-movie “Transparent” and Bifrost Pictures’ “We’ll Never Have Paris.” Light is repped by Gersh.
Emily Rios and Matthew Lillard have been upped to series regulars on FX’s THE BRIDGE. Rios and Lillard play reporters Ariana Mendez and Daniel Frye respectively, who discover a home filled with cash. As this event sparks investigations on both sides of the border, the importance of Mendez and Frye begins to grow. Repped by Domain Talent, Rios most recently appeared in a few episodes of “Breaking Bad” and “Private Practice.” She’ll next be seen in an upcoming episode of “Grimm.” Repped by Paradigm, Lillard is best known for playing Stuart in “Scream” and Shaggy Rogers in a ton of “Scooby Doo” films and cartoons.
Rob Huebel has landed a role in IFC’s upcoming pilot AMERICAN STORAGE, which follows the unlikely friendship between a straight-laced employee at a storage facility and Kurt (Huebel), the eccentric man he discovers living in one of the units like it was an apartment. Heubel is best known for “Axe Cop” and “Childrens Hopsital.” He’s repped by UTA.
Daniel Henney has booked a three episode arc on NBC’s REVOLUTION. He will appear in the 13th episode as Peter Garner, a highly intelligent and charming character. His relationship to the other characters though is being kept under wraps, so we’ll just have to wait till January to learn more. Henney, repped by CAA, most recently appeared in Eva Jin’s “One Night Surprise”, Kim Jee-Woon’s “The Last Stand” and a few episodes of “Hawaii Five-0.” He’ll next be seen in Rob Bowman’s TV-movie “Occult.”
Patrick Heusinger will be starring in NBC’s pilot TIN MAN. Written by Ehren Kruger, the pilot follows a fugitive robot (Heusinger) who is wrongly accused of murdering his creator and the public defender who must fight for him. Repped by Gersh, Heusinger most recently appeared in Noah Baumbach’s “Frances Ha”, Alberto Belli’s horror short “Cause of Death” and the “Bones” episode “The Lady on the List.” He’ll next be seen in Daniela Amavia’s “Beautiful Now.”
Veronica Appeddu and Jonathan Varo have joined the cast of SIGNALS FROM BEYOND. The series, written by Marcos Villalon and Ricardo Morteo, follows the daughter of a music mogul who enrolls at a small performing arts school in the quiet town of Laguna Deseada. Appeddu will star as the mogul’s daughter Bianca Castiglione, while Varo plays the half-brother of the school’s head of studies.
