Rosie Perez has joined the pilot cast of AN AMERICAN EDUCATION, which revolves around a British transplant who becomes an unorthodox young teacher in the San Diego public school system. Perez will play Rita Gomez, the school’s hard-assed Vice Principal, a terrifying force that grew up in a bad neighborhood. She is repped by Authentic Talent and Literary Management.
Joshua Sasse has snatched up the lead in the upcoming fairytale comedy GALAVANT. Karen David, Mallory Jansen and Luke Youngblood have landed roles as well. Sasse will play Prince Galavant who embarks on a quest to rescue his one true love. He’s best known for “Rogue” and is repped by ICM.

Serinda Swan will guest star in a few upcoming episodes of TOMORROW PEOPLE. She will play Cassandra “Cassie” Smythe, a bank-robbing paranormal who is the most powerful breakout on the planet. She’s best known for “Graceland” and “Breakout Kings” and is repped by UTA.
Linda Cardellini has joined the cast of NEW GIRL in a recurring role. She’ll play Abby, the wild sister to Zooey Deschanel’s character Jess. Cardellini was last seen in “Mad Men” and is repped by ICM.
Ray Ford has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy FATRICK. He will play Maurice, the longtime best friend of the main character, Patrick. Kevin Zegers has joined the cast of the upcoming event series GRACEPOINT, which revolves around a small town mystery. Reece Ritchie has landed a role in the 13 episode series HIEROGLYPH. The Egyptian fantasy series hails from “Pacific Rim” writer Travis Beacham. Ritchie will play Shai, the young, handsome Pharaoh who rules with an iron fist and fully trusts no one. He last appeared in “White Heat” and is repped by UTA.
Telma Hopkins has joined the cast of the Martin Lawrence/Kelsey Grammar sitcom BRADDOCK & JACKSON. She will play Lawrence’s mother, Ruth. Best known for “Family Matters”, Hopkins is repped by Innovative Artists.
Jim Watson has joined the cast of vampire/plague drama THE STRAIN. He will play the younger version of Abraham (David Bradley) who is caught and sent to a concentration camp. Watson is best known for “Copper” and is repped by Characters Talent Agency.
Dominic Adams has joined DEVIOUS MAIDS in a recurring role. He will play Tony, a dark, handsome and athletic bodyguard/chauffeur who is ex-Special Forces. Adams also appeared in “Futurestates” and is repped by Pantheon Talent.
Diane Neal has snagged a recurring role in POWER. She will play the polished, professional and hyper-intelligent Cynthia Sheridan. Neal is best known for “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service” and is repped by Osbrink Talent Agency.
The online show JAKE & AMIR will translate to the small screen. The show will revolve around friends/workmates who get into various shenanigans.
