AMC has put in development a series version of one of the most praised movies of all time, the 1990 Martin Scorsese mob classic GOODFELLAS. Nicholas Pileggi, who wrote the original novel the film was based on, is on board to co-write the series with Jorge Zamacona. The two will also produce Irwin Winkler.
FOX has picked up the single-camera comedy LIVING LOADED from writers/executive producers Rob McElhenney, Dan Dunn and Rob Rosell. “Alway Sunny” star Charlie Day will also executive produce along with Glenn Howerton, Nick Frenkel and Michael Rotenberg. The series revolves around a wild partying blogger who is forced to change his career plans when he becomes a radio host.
FOX is also in business with Mark Guggenheim on the new drama GUILTY, which revolves around a brilliant defense attorney who, after being falsely accused pf fraud and loosing his license, takes the law into his own hands and begins using unconventional methods to solve cases he’s been barred from.
