has approached CBS about taking on the cult series for a third season. The series is set in small-town Kansas after a series of nuclear attacks on the U.S. Fan protest had saved the show from being canceled after just one season, but the series was dropped following season two in 2007. Being that survives on subscription fees instead of advertising revenue, the company stands to gain a lot from preexisting fanbases in the form of new subscribers. This comes after the news that will be airing an exclusive new season of another fan-favorite, “Arrested Development”. The constantly evolving subscription service has several original series of its own in , including the upcoming David Fincher project “House of Cards”.

DEALS

has signed a one-year contract with CBS to continue on through the 13th season of .
