ABC has picked up new 1/2 hour comedy KEVIN’S LIFE WITH WOMEN from writers/exec producers Brian Bradley and Steven Cragg (Scrubs, MadTV). Series centers on three sisters who must come together and help raise their 16-year-old younger brother after their mother dies.
ABC has also picked up the 1/2 hour laugher UNDERSTANDING TODAY’S MAN from writers/exec producers Brian Bradley and Steven Cragg (Scrubs, MadTV). This series will revolve around the lives of four men at different stages of relationships — from single to long married.
ABC has picked up the UNTITLED EDWARD BURNS BUDDY COMEDY from writer/exec producer Edward Burns (Fighting Fitzgeralds). Series, which will also be exec produced by Aaron Lubin and Peter Traugott, will centers on two adult friends, whose lives are disrupted when the bully from their childhood moves in between them.
ABC has snagged the UNTITLED PIETROSH/GOLDENSTEIN COMEDY from writers/exec producers Chrissy Pietrosh and Jessica Goldstein (Cougartown). Series will also be exec produced by Mark Gordon and Deb Spera.
CARTOON NETWORK has bought the TV rights to adapt the new animated series HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. No writers, or producers have yet to be assigned.
CBS has snatched up police drama ROOKIES from writers/exec producers Robert De Niro and Richard Price. Series, which Jane Rosenthal will also exec produce, will center on a team of six freshman cops who are sent into high-crime trouble spots.
CBS has bought the new 1-hour crime series SIRINGO from writer/exec producer Trey Callaway. Series will center on the cowboy Charlie Siringo, a Pinkerton Agency operative who uses investigative techniques and his own instincts to catch crooks in late-1800s Old West. Mace Neufeld will also exec produce.
CBS has also picked up the multi-cam comedy ADOPTED FAMILY from writer/actor/exec producer Josh Gad. Series centers on a teenage girl who shows up on a man’s doorstep, leading him to discover that his new wife has a daughter he didn’t know existed.

Edward Norton and director John Curran are partnering up to bring together a new TV series centered on the famed explorers LEWIS AND CLARK. Duo are using the book “Undaunted Courage” by Stephen Ambrose as a guideline.
