TV SALES AND PICK-UPS
Former “Everybody Loves Raymond” executive producer Mike Royce continues his business with FOX, as he has just sold another UNTITLED ROYCE COMEDY PROJECT. The multi-camera comedy follows a two-earner couple and their attempts to have it all. Royce received a script commitment with penalty.
Josh Goldin and Rachel Abramowitz have sold a second drama project to NBC, the legal drama MAJOR CRIMES. “Milk” producer Michael London is executive producing through Groundswell Productions, with Sony Pictures Television also on board. Goldin and Abramowitz are co-writing/executive producing the project, which is set in the world of young ADAs in a Los Angeles downtown court building.
ABC FAMILY has picked up Dan Waters’s GENERATION DEAD, based on the three book Disney series set in and around a Connecticut high school in which some of the students are “living impaired,” i.e. zombies, who train to get on the football team and enjoy romances with normal girls. Pillar-Segan producing, for writing showrunners Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux.
