TV SALES
CBS has picked up HOMELAND INSECURITY from writers Josh Greenbaum and Ben McMillan, and exec producers Rob Shalhoub and Rani Aliahmad. Series, which is based on the web series comedy of the same name, centers on the behind the scene workplace comedy of today’s airport security. David Guarascio and Moses Port will also exec produce.
TV RENEWALS
AMC has already gone ahead and ordered a second season of THE WALKING DEAD, but now they’ve extended that order from the original 6 episode second season, to a 13-episode order up-front.
NBC has renewed DAYS OF OUR LIVES for a guarantee of at least two more years. Series just completed it’s 45th year.
Not quite a renewal, but the SUNDANCE CHANNEL has bought the rights to the cancelled HBO series THE COMEBACK for rebroadcast.
TV DEALS
Executive Producer Rob Hammersley has signed a long-term development deal with DISCOVERY.
