FOX is in talks to pick up last year’s pilot BREAKING IN from writer/exec producer Adam F. Goldberg. Pilot, which was shot for this past season, didn’t make the network cut, but was a network favorite that just didn’t fit the shot amount of slots for a new series to build. Now, the network is looking to order at least a 9-episode run (they’ve already ordered 2 scripts beyond the initial pilot). Pilot starred Bret Harrison and Christian Slater, was directed by Seth Gordon, and produced by Adam Sandlet.
FOX has bough the rights to the novels THE KNOWLAND RETRIBUTION and THE LACEY CONFESSION from author Richard Greener, with an eye towards adapting them as a spinoff of the hit series BONES.
TV LAND has moved forward and greenlit a pilot tp the new comedy EX MEN from writer/exec producer Mark Reisman. Series revolves around 3 divorced guys who live in an apartment building that their young and sexy female divorce attorney just happens to be the landlord of.
