ABC has moved forward with the already in development THE INCREDIBLE HULK, they announced over a month ago, adding a super-talent duo in Guillermo del Toro and David Eick to usher the project forward. Eick will write the pilot, while Del Toro will direct, and both will exec produce and create the series story arc together.
CBS has picked up the new series THE RAINMAKER from writer/exec producer Sharon Hoffman. Series, which will also be exec produced by Carol Mendelsohn, Julie Weitz, Jonathan Baruch and John Tomko, centers on a high powered lawyer whose wife dies, leaving him to struggle to balance his new role as a state prosecutor and a single parent.
CBS has snatched up the comedy based on an Esquire article entitled RAISING MEN from writers/exec producers Aron Abrams and Gregory Thompson. Series, which will be based on the article written by A.J. Jacobs, will center on a father who learns how to be truly masculine from raising his sons. Jacbos, Samuel L. Jackson and Amanda Tracey also exec produce.
CBS has ordered a new FBI procedural in the UNTITLED JULIE HEBERT FBI PROJECT from writer/exec producer Julie Hebert. Series, which Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly will also exec produce, also has Dylan Walsh attached to star.
