Feature director Paul Greengrass has boarded the UNTITLED WEISENBERG CIA DRAMA PROJECT for FOX. The project marks the television debut for Greengrass, who will also serve as an executive producer on the CIA drama along with Wiesenberg and Brian Grazer. Greengrass may also potentially direct the pilot.

Melissa Rosenberg is developing and adaptation of the Dutch series PENOZA for ABC. She will write and executive produce. The series centers on a widow of an assassinated criminal who is suddenly forced to adopt her late husband’s role in order to protect her family. Rosenberg will serve as showrunner. Alon Aranya and Howard Klein will executive produce alongside Rosenberg.
CARTOON NETWORK has picked up rights to the popular YouTube series THE ANNOYING ORANGE, which is planned as a half-hour animated series. Created by Dane Boedigheimer and Tom Sheppard, the series will feature Orange, along with his band of buddies, including Pear, Passion Fruit, Apple, Marshmallow and his nemesis Grapefruit, will travel through time in a magical fruit cart. The series was created and will developed by The Collective. Conrad Vernon will executive produce with Gary Binkow and Dan Weinstein.
HBO and BBC are in cahoots to develop a miniseries adaptation of the award-winning historical novel WOLF HALL by Hilary Mantel. Peter Straughan will make his television debut writing the four-part miniseries, which is is a fictionalized biography chronicling the rise to power of Thomas Cromwell in the court of King Henry VIII.
SHOWTIME is teaming up with director/producer Ken Kwapis for two future comedy projects. Kwapis and his producing partner Alexandra Beattie are developing via In Cahoots, with their first project an UNTITLED TITLED DARK COMEDY PROJET set in the world of advertising, which will be written and executive produced by Shalom Auslander. The second UNTITLED RELATIONSHIP COMEDY PROJECT, which follows a young married couple as they explore the idea of an open marriage. Sara Goodman will write and executive produce.
