Jere Burns wills star in a recurring role on the prequel-to-“Psycho” series BATES MOTEL. The exact characters Burns will play is not known but he will be pivotal to the series. An actor whose had recurring roles on a large array of shows including “Breaking Bad”, “Burn Notice” and “Justified”, Burns currently stars as Spencer Madsen on “Hawaii Five-O”. Brooklyn Decker will make an appearance in the next season of the comedy NEW GIRL. The model/actress will play a bartender named Holly who becomes the center of attention for Nick, Schmidt and Winston. Decker, who rose to prominence with her appearances in Sports Illustrated’s “Swimsuit Editions”, made her acting debut with appearances in the series “Royal Pains” and “Chuck”. She first appeared on the big screen with last year’s Adam Sandler comedy “Just Go With It”. She is repped by Gersh.
Mary Grill will take a recurring role in THE MINDY PROJECT. She will play Maggie, a college friend of Mindy’s with tomboy-features. Grill made a recent appearance in HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”.

Joel Johnstone will take a recurring role on Aaron Sorkin’s THE NEWSROOM. He will play a character named Cameron, a Mitt Romney campaign worker from New Hampshire. Johnstone will next be seen in the HBO comedy “Getting On”.

S. Epatha Merkerson will have a recurring role in the drama DECEPTION. The upcoming project follows a detective (Meagan Good) who goes undercover with wealthy family to uncover the mystery of her childhood best friend’s murder. Merkerson will play Good’s mother. A former regular on “Law & Order”, Merkerson currently stars in Steven Spielberg’s epic period drama “Lincoln”. She is repped by ICM.

Sean Bean will star in the lead role in the TNT series LEGENDS replaceing Brandon Frasier as Martin Odum, an undercover agent who can transform himself into any sort of person depending on the mission. Best known as Boromir in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and as Ned Stark in HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, the actor, whose characters have an uncanny ability of dying in most of his work, was last seen in the horror pic “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D” (which he actually lives in). He is repped by CAA and Independent Talent Group.

Michael Richards will star in the upcoming comedy pilot GIANT BABY with Gilles Marini coming on as a guest. The project, which stars Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman follows a Broadway star (Alley) whose long-lost son comes back to her when his adoptive mother dies. Richards will play her limo driver with Marini playing her chef. Richards, best known as Kramer on “Seinfeld”, has had a recurring role as himself on Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. He is repped by Abrams Artists Agency.

Piper Perabo will star in a recurring role on the Matthew Perry comedy GO ON. Perabo will play a woman named Simone who, after leaving Perry’s therapy group, returns and begins a relationship with him. The current star of “Covert Affairs”, Perabo last starred in Rian Johnson’s Sci-Fi thriller “Looper”. She is repped buy UTA.
