Chloe Bennet joins the cast of Joss Whedon’s new upcoming show MARVEL’S S.H.I.E.L.D. as a regular. She will play Skye, a confident woman who is slightly obsessed with superhero culture and the shadow organizations that exist within it. She’s known for her recent (almost recurring) role on ABC’s drama “Nashville”.

Kathleen Rose Perkins will star in the pilot of THE GATES, a comedy set at the front gates of an elementary school drop-off and revolves around the parents, school staff and 15-minute social minefield they have to navigate at the beginning and end of each school day. Perkins will play Helen, who just moved to town with her husband Mark and their eight year-old daughter for Helen’s big new job — the VP of Product Development at Williams-Sonoma. Perkins is also currently a regular on Showtime’s “Episodes”. She is repped by Innovative Artists.
Wendell Pierce will star in an untitled family comedy pilot from Michael J. Fox, a project inspired by Fox’s real life and stars him as Mike Burnaby, a husband and father of three in New York City juggling the challenges of family and career while dealing with Parkinson’s Disease. Pierce will play Mike’s boss Harris, a slick, twice divorced man. Pierce is known best for HBO’s “The Wire” and “Treme” both created by David Simon. He is repped by Paradigm.
Sean Hayes in an untitled multi-camera comedy from Victor Fresco. The project centers on Sean (Hayes), who must figure out how to parent his 14-year-old daughter, who just moved in, while navigating a temperamental new boss at work. Hayes is best known for “Will and Grace”. He is repped by WME.

Steve Harris will star in the pilot LEGENDS. The project centers on Martin Odum, played by Sean Bean, a deep-cover CIA operative who has an uncanny ability to transform himself into a different person for each job. Harris will play Yates, the director of the DCO Task Force who reinstates Martin to an undercover job. Harris was a regular on the cancelled “Awake” and has appeared in “Harry’s Law” and “Friday Night Lights”. He is repped by ICM.
Annie Monroe and Anthony Ruivivar have joined the upcoming fifth season of SOUTHLAND in recurring roles. Ruivivar will play Lucero, a veteran Los Angeles police officer and a Mexican American born and raised in East Los Angeles. Monroe will play a love interest for the character Ben Sherman. Ruivivar, repped by Gersh, will also have a recurring role in the new Cinemax show “Banshee”.

Amanda Schull and Manolo Cardona will star in an hourlong, untitled pilot from Nicolas Falacci & Cheryl Heuton. The project follows a Miami businessman who, contemplating a run for political office, tries to increase his chances of being elected by marrying a Colombian woman who is on the run from her troubled past. Schull will play Melody, the beautiful daughter of a wealthy former U.S. senator. Cardona will play Andres Varges, a handsome political science professor at the University of Miami. Schull has had roles in “Suits”, “Grim” and “Vegas”, she is repped by Innovative Artists.
