Fan favorite character Audrey Horne is returning to TWIN PEAKS. Sherilyn Fenn will reprise her role as the femme fatale in the new season on Showtime. Information about the project is being kept under wraps, but the character is expected to have a major presence in the revival. Laura Dern is also joining David Lynch’s cult series in a role that is being kept top secret.
Fenn has a longstanding relationship with Showtime. She previously had a major arc on Ray Donovan and has been filming a heavily recurring role on the new season of Shameless.
Dern previously worked with Lynch on Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, and Inland Empire. The project is also a reunion with her Blue Velvet costar Kyle MacLachlan, who was the first of Twin Peaks’s original cast to sign on to the revival.
Additional cast members include Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer, Miguel Ferrer as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield, and series newcomers Jennifer Jason Leigh, Robert Knepper, Balthazar Getty, Amanda Seyfried, and Bailey Chase.
Lynch and Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost have penned the new installment, and Lynch is directing. Filming is currently underway in Washington state. Les Moonves previously announced that the show would debut in 2017.
Fenn is repped by Artists International Management.
Dern is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.
