Emmy Award-winning actress Tyne Daly is the latest to join the growing cast of SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. The star of stage and screen joins Tom Holland, who will make his solo pic debut as the titular webslinging comic book hero.
The roster for the Marvel/Sony collaboration is quite extensive. So far the movie includes Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Michael Barbieri, Hannibal Buress, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., and J.J. Totah. Bokeen Woodbine and Michael Michael Mando are the lastest additions to the cast.
The movie take place during Peter Parker’s high school days. Jon Watts is set to direct the script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Sony’s Amy Pascal will serve as producers. The movie, is set for a July 7, 2017 release date.
Daly recently appeared in the Michael Showalter comedy Hello, My Name Is Doris opposite Sally Field. She can be seen next in Looking: The Movie on HBO.
