The Conjuring 2 star Verga Farmiga has found her next starring role in THE COMMUTER. She joins previously cast Liam Neeson in the thriller to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
Farmiga plays a mysterious woman who boards a commuter train and proposes an enticing opportunity to Nesson’s character, that will have dire circumstances if he accepts. The film is described has having Hitchcock-ian elements in the vein of North By Northwest and Strangers On A Train.
Collet-Serra and Ombra Films’ Juan Sola executive produce while Studiocanal’s Ron Halpern produces.
Farmiga can currently be seen in theaters in The Conjuring 2 and her fourth season of Bates Motel just finished airing on A+E. She previously worked with Collet-Serra on Orphan.
