〉Bill Dubuque’s script is under way at Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. is moving forward with its political thriller, WHITE KNIGHT. Bill Dubuque is writing the script, and the search is on for a suitable director. Dubuque has earned critical acclaim for his last script, The Judge. Mark Williams is producing, and Courtenay Valenti and Andrew Fischel are overseeing for Warner Bros.
White Knight follows a former secret service agent as he takes a job protecting the head of one of Mexico’s most powerful drug cartels. As he gets to know his criminal client, he becomes close with his family, which only makes his situation harder as he must protect these people against other cartels, the Mexican government, and the American government he once served.
The film sounds promising, and hopes are high with Dubuque behind the script. Dubuque’s next script to hit screens is The Accountant, about a forensic accountant who “un-cooks” criminals’ financial records featuring Anna Kendrick, Ben Affleck and JK Simmons. He is also re-teaming with The Judge star Robert Downey Jr. on a political satire about the presidential debates. He is repped by CAA and Zero Gravity Management.
