Last night, WESTWORLD co-creator Jonathan Nolan took to Reddit, admitting he’s been a user for years and acknowledged the fact that Redditors solved the puzzles of the HBO show’s first season long before the show itself offered up “reveals.” To combat spoilers in season 2, Nolan said his team decided they’d post a video on Reddit revealing all the season 2 spoilers ahead of the show’s debut.
The video went up, and while the first couple minutes seem genuine, it quickly turns into one of the best Rickrolls in history. Angela Sarafyan plays the piano as Evan Rachel Wood sings “Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley. After the song, the next 20 minutes is the Westworld theme song accompanied by a very adorable dog sitting at the piano.
Westworld season 2 plot details are very much under wraps until its debuts on April 22 on HBO. Watch the brilliant video below and remember… Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you…
