Waypoint Entertainment has picked up the rights to , a comic series from and released by Image Comics last September.

Plutona is a coming-of-age story which centers on five kids who discover the body of the world’s greatest super hero in the woods after school one day. This discovery sends them on a dark journey that will threaten to tear apart their friendship and their lives.

The producers recently acquired two properties from Kingsman: The Secret Service writer Mark Millar, American Jesus and Supercrooks, with plans to develop each into a feature film.

Lemire is currently executive producing Super Zero, based on his graphic novel Tales From the Farm, and The Descender, based on his comic of the same title, which is in at Columbia.
