Weekend Box Office (06.10.13) — “The Purge” Invades The Weekend

“The Purge” debuts strong, pulling in nearly 10 times its reported budget. That ain’t too shabby. “Fast 6” is hanging in there but with a much smaller piece of the pie then it’s used to. “Now You See Me” continues to amaze by sticking in there, not by its contents. “The Internship” debuts to a dismal 18 million which isn’t all that great. “Epic” is still the only animated movie out so it’s still bringing in the dough (albiet not that much).
