Wendi McLendon-Covey has joined the cast of THE FAMILYMOON (previously BLENDED) alongside Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Joel McHale, Chelsea Handler, Terry Crews and Kevin Nealon. The story follows a couple (Sandler, Barrymore) that gets stuck with their children from previous marriages at a resort designed for families. McLendon-Covey will play Barrymore’s best friend, a woman who has no children.
Rodney Rothman penned the most recent draft that Frank Coraci will direct. Mike Karz will produce.
McLendon-Covey is best known for “Reno 911” and “Bridesmaids.” She was last in “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and will next appear in “A Friggin’ Christmas Miracle” which also stars Joe McHale.
