Zack Whedon has been brought on to do a rewrite of the comic book adaptation TALENT for Universal and Marc Platt. The project, which has been slowly drifting forward in development hell was previously adapted by Dean Georgaris, and tells the tale of a college professor, who is the sole survivor of a plane wreck, and slowly discovers he’s inherited the abilities of the passengers who’ve died. Now, he puts his new talents to use as he finds himself chased down by members of a shadowy conspiracy.
Whedon, who is most well known for his work in TV, lists “Rubicon”, “Fringe” and “Deadwood” to his recent credits.
Whedon is repped by WME.
