William H. Macy, Joan Allen Get a “Room”

It’s not as scandalous as it sounds – , , , , , and have all joined the cast of . Based on the book written by Emma Donoghue, the drama stars Brie Larson as the mother of a 5-year-old who grows up in an 11-by-11 shed he believes to be the whole world. His young mother has shielded him from the truth that they are captives. Donoghue adapted the script for the project, which Lenny Abrahamson is set to direct.

Macy is well known for his quirky roles in films like Fargo, Magnolia, and Jurassic Park III. Lately, most of his time has been spent on where he stars as the patriarch of a rambunctious family on Shameless. His upcoming include Maggie Kiley’s drama Dial a Prayer, Bradley Kaplan’s Stealing Cars, and Jean-François Richet’s Blood Father, where he stars opposite Mel Gibson.

Allen, on the other hand, is well known for her roles in high octane like the Bourne franchise, Face/Off, and the Netflix crime drama The Killing. Allen has also showcased her softer side in films like The Notebook, Pleasantville, and The Crucible. Young Tremblay has lent his vocal talents to 2013’s The Smurfs 2 and has appeared in Colin Minihan’s horror/sci-fi Extraterrestrial. Next up, he’s set to Mike Flanagan’s thriller Somnia alongside Thomas Jane.

Bridgers is best known for his roles in series like Deadwood and Rectify. On the silver screen, he has appeared in rom-com Sweet Home Alabama, crime drama The Woman, and most recently, the romance/drama The Best of Me. McCamus’ best known roles are in films like Confessions of a Teenage Queen, The Samaritan and The Sweet Hereafter. Park is known for her role as Grace Bowman on the family drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager and for playing Whitney Drummond in Charlie Bartlett.
