Oscar-nominated actor Woody Harrelson is tackling a new venture in the form of LOST IN LONDON. The project is a live event that will give audiences the chance to watch a film shot in real time. Harrelson wrote the project and is set to direct and star.
Owen Wilson and Willie Nelson will also star in the film which is loosely based on a crazy night full of real-life events. Harrelson plays himself as he struggles to get home to his family while run-ins with royalty, old friends, and the law all seem to conspire to keep him from succeeding. The film will broadcast live to U.S movie theaters on January 19, 2017. After the live event, Lost in London will go into post production and be released as a feature film
Harrelson will also produce alongside Ken Kao from Waypoint Entertainment. Special events company Fathom Events is set to facilitate the live production of the film.
Harrelson recently starred in the indie teen comedy The Edge of Seventeen. He stars in a full slate of films opening within the year including The Glass Castle, Wilson, and War for the Planet of the Apes.
He is repped by CAA.
