Jyoti Amge, the world’s smallest woman, is joining the cast of Ryan Murphy’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW. The FX anthology series is in its fourth season and stars Jessica Lange as a German expat who is in charge of one of the last remaining freak shows in the country, in Jupiter, Florida in the 1950s. Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and Gabourey Sidibe round out the cast. Amge joins fellow newcomers Patti LaBelle Michael Chiklis, John Carroll Lynch, and Finn Wittrock.
Amge, a resident of Nagpur, India, is in the “Guinness Book of Records” as the world’s smallest woman, standing tall at a height of just 2 feet, 0.6 inches. Amge is no stranger to the spotlight, having appeared in the 2009 documentary “Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen” and as a guest on the Indian version of “Big Brother,” called “Bigg Boss 6.”
