Yayan Ruhian, known for his kick-ass martial arts skills, has secured a role in Miike Takashi’s next film YAKUZA APOCALYPSE – THE GREAT WAR OF THE UNDERWORLD. He will be playing an international assassin in the action-packed thriller, and will no doubt be a crowd pleaser for fans.
Ruhian appeared in both of “The Raid” action films and made a name for himself in his role as “Mad Dog” in “Raid: Redemption.” He usually acts and takes on the role of fight choreographer in most of his films.
Django Film and Japanese distributor Nikkatsu are producing, and they’re currently eyeing a 2015 release.
