Story follows a Latina illegal immigrant, gangbanger and single mother who joins the U.S. Army for citizenship and a better life for her daughter, yet struggles to obtain all that’s been promised her, even while giving everything she has to her “chem-bio-rad-nuke” unit of military misfits.
