Bad Robot Names “Star Wars” Exec. Producer Tommy Harper COO

J.J. Abrams has named Tommy Harper the new COO of his production company Bad Robot. Harper first worked with the company on the 2006 film Mission Impossible III. He has continued to work with the company on Star Trek, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the upcoming film Stars Wars: Episode VII. Over his twenty year career, Harper has worked on a number of studio projects including the Tim Burton films Alice In Wonderland and Big Eyes. 

In regards to Harper becoming COO, Abrams responded, 

I’ve been lucky enough to work with Tommy Harper for years. Again and again he has proven to be an impressively responsible, dedicated and hard-working leader. His insights and experience will help Bad Robot across all departments, in countless ways. Despite how impeccably he dresses, I admire him enormously.”
