A segmented selection of the BASED ON Selections from the IN DEVELOPMENT projects. This hub covers all In Development projects that are sequels, prequels, remakes or reboots of a pre-existing film or television series in the domestic or international market.

Logline: Story of playboy stuntman Valentin who ends up with a daughter left on his doorstep and raises her alone until her mother unexpectedly shows up to take her away from the only family she has ever known.

Logline: Fish out of water thriller about a guy who breaks out of prison in order to kill someone and save his own life. However, he’s just a regular guy and not positioned to do this at all.

Logline: When a rogue planet is discovered on a collision course for Earth, an astronomer discovers a second planet accompanying the first that is capable of sustaining life. He and his fellow scientists are scoffed at as they embark on a daring, near-impossible plan to build ships to transport a small group of people to the new planet in order to populate it and ensure the survival of the human race.

Logline: Lyle the crocodile lives in a house on East 88th Street in New York City. He likes it there, and his hosts, the Primms, like have him around–he helps young Joshua with his homework, jumps-rope with the neighborhood kids, and browses through antique shops with Mrs. Primm. Much to the affable reptile’s dismay, however, he makes his neighbor’s cat Loretta crazy, which in turn make Mr. Grumps, Loretta’s owner, even crazier. One day, Mrs. Primm and Lyle are shopping, when Lyle–through no real fault of his own–ends up infuriating department-store bigwig Mr. Grumps who turns red and blue and purple with rage. This unfortunate eruption lands the rollicking reptile in the Central Park Zoo where Lyle fights back his crocodile tears. In an elaborate sequence of events, Lyle finds himself back with the Primms on East 88th Street, a neighborhood hero, and, startlingly, even a friend of the mistrustful cat Loretta.

Logline: A low-level crook must break out of jail to save his family from his former cellmate and confidante, who, it turns out, is a sadistic serial killer.

Logline: A writing couple with a volatile relationship spend a weekend on a remote island. After a fight that leads to the husband hitting his head and losing his memory, the wife decides it’s the perfect time to escape the relationship.

Logline: Blart attends a security guard expo in Las Vegas with his daughter, where he’s mocked by casino security until he helps them take on a group of dangerous art thieves.

Logline: An ex-convict takes on a dangerous job in order to restore his standing among the gangs he left when he went to prison.
