David Morrissey Inks With UTA

The Governor has signed with UTA. David Morrissey plays the man you love to hate – The Governor – on AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” but did you know he’s actually British? Morrissey is well known across the pond for his roles in the BBC mini-series “Sense & Sensibility” and for his stage performances while working with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. Lately, though, he’s made a name for himself with roles in thriller “The Reaping” and “Centurion.” Morrissey will be writing and directing “Head On,” a biopic about the life of rocker Julian Cope.
Morrissey is still represented by Silver Lining and Troika in the UK.
