{Exclusive} Launch Pad Alum Celia Finkelstein Lands Representation With Rothman Brecher Agency

       〉 Finkelstein becomes the 110th Launch Pad alum to find representation in just two years!

After receiving recognition for her dark comedy pilot BETTER, Celia Finkelstein has signed with Rina Brannen, Robb Rothman, and Stephanie Rothman at Rothman Brecher Agency. 

Finkelstein’s remarkable script is centered on Jane, who, after a failed suicide attempt and a stint in a psychiatric hospital, must find her way to a new normal. 

Readers felt that the hopeful dramedy tactfully balanced dark themes with engaging wit, using grounded characters and solid storytelling to explore love and life from a unique point of view. The writer excels at character development, as the leads are intelligent and complex, and also smartly plays with the idea that the people around Jane may actually be crazier than she is. The pilot offers the sort of characters who present incredible opportunity for actors and actresses to sink their teeth into.

Finkelstein is an actress and a writer. She is a graduate of Rollins College and has studied at RADA, The Shakespeare Lab at the Public Theater, and Steppenwolf West. She has guest-starred on such series as Rizzoli and Isles, The Mentalist, and American Horror Story. She also appeared in the award-winning short Stigma and the feature Horrible Bosses.
