Labor Day Weekend Box Office (09.03.13) — “The Butler” Bows For No “One” Edition

With the extended weekend tallies “The Butler” just manages to hold onto it’s title for the third week in a row. The “One Direction” documentary/marketing ploy/thingamajig movie debuted to second place with 18 million, which isn’t much but it’s a tough weekend. “The Millers” dropped to third, while “Planes” rose from 5th to 4th. The foreign comedy “Instructions Not Included” debuted to 5th place with 10 million, which isn’t bad at all considering.
