Resolution Signs Paul Verhoeven

“Total Recall” director Paul Verhoeven has officially signed with Resolution. He was previously at ICM, but when his agent decided to take an executive job at FX, Verhoeven began the search for a new rep. The Netherlands born director really caught the eyes of American audiences in 1987 with his work on “Robocop”, then in 1990 with “Total Recall” and in 1992 with “Basic Instinct.” After the unfortunate project “Showgirls”, Verhoeven made a comeback with “Starship Troopers” in 1997 and “Hollow Man” in 2000. His latest project “Jesus of Nazareth”, based off a book he also penned, is currently being funded by Chris Hanley at Muse Productions.
