Dreamworks has picked up the film rights to the Kathryn Stocket novel THE HELP. The story is about a young white woman in the early 1960s in Mississippi who becomes interested in the plight of the African-American domestic servants that every family has working for them. She writes their stories about mistreatment, abuse and heartbreak, all just before the Civil Rights revolution.

Logline: Pitched as being in the vein of “Body Heat,” the story, set in the finest and most affluent beach community in Long Island, centers on an average teen boy who falls for a beautiful, smart and incredibly rich girl, who’s mysterious past threatens her estate as well as her life, unless can be saved.

Logline: A boy has a growth spurt at the age of ten and never stops growing. At age 13 he is a cowardly 25 foot tall giant and has to figure out his place in his village and the world.

Logline: Story follows Doyle and Aimee, two Earthling students, who are chosen to attend a high school in outer space (Aimee for being the #1 student, Doyle for being a failure). Their lives change around as Doyle hardly makes any friends, and Aimee becomes popular. The two students befriend alien classmates and learn to get along with them, despite their differences.
